1. Megalencephaly is the pathological growth of the brain or the skull due to conditions such as hydroncephaly or skull binding, it has nothing to do with having a bigger brain that your body "should" have, you're applying moral terms to science, there's no brain size a human "should have".
2. Again: as long as it isn't pathological there's no problem with deviating from "normal" biometrics.
3. Big brains is strongly linked to higher functioning autism, aka Aspergers, not all kinds of autism, so is bigger jaws and bigger skulls overall.
4. Brain size is 0.7 correlated to IQ and 0.4 to general intelligence.

I mean I'm a woman myself, but fact is men's brains are larger (on average) and men score 4 points higher on IQ tests than women (again, on average). This is so politically incorrect though that media puts a different spin on it. I know some super brainy maths nerds who're really awkward, weird and borderline autistic, so raw intelligence doesn't mean someone is a superior human or even bearable to be around. What it does mean though is that if trannies want to claim to have "women's brains" they shouldn't also be claiming higher IQ.
Personally I think they all have severe mental illness so the argument is moot

I dunno, I'm not bothered by men having a wider statistical bound on IQ. Most measures of IQ prominently feature the shit where male autists excel. Socialization (including the basic shit like nutrition/stress as children) impacts it greatly besides. I'm poisoned by Cordelia Fine's books and, additionally continue to intentionally poison my brain by reading sites like this while drinking.

assuming we're talking about the wais-iv/waic or whatever, you can absolutely teach basic test-taking skills to raise scores by at least one standard deviation, and very possibly beyond that if you keep tutoring people like they aren't idiots. IQ tests don't necessarily measure memorized skills, but you absolutely can teach people 'how to think correctly' to score better. The Flynn Effect is basically this writ large as western standards of education spread, but you can affect it in more localized communities within the west as well. It'd take me a bit to dig up studies because I'm out of the ed game but it's 'a thing' if you'll believe some random idiot on kiwifarms of all places.

I think Cordelia Fine's got her two books that troons reeee about literally about this shit, in Testosterone Rex and Delusions of Gender. I should probably get on *finishing reading them both...

I'm just saying, acting as if IQ tests are some fool proof and completely fair and objective way to test intelligence is rather naive and simple way to view it.

Powerleveling, but I have taken iq tests performed by psychologist, and they tested 3D perception skills, pattern recognition, language skills, general education, general problem solving etc. very wide scale of things. For example, one part of the test was showing me pictures and I had to point out mistakes in them. One of the pictures was a snowy environment, some of the mistakes relating to how snow works. Now, if you showed that same picture to someone who lives in a country that has no snow and this person hasn't had access to internet to see snow, would it be fair to expect that this person has a similar knowledge about how snow works as I, a person who lives in a country that gets snow regularly?
Even with pattern recognition tests, would it be fair to test me, a person who has studied geometry and mathematics, and someone who hasn't had access to those studies, or even more extremely, was someone from some uncontacted tribe who didn't even know all the names of the shapes they were shown and who might not have concept of geometry and expect them to have same pattern recognition skills with geometrical shapes like me? Would this kind of test really be objective?

Transgender YouTube star ‘downloaded child sex abuse images while running child care service’

A popular YouTuber who vlogged about life as a transgender woman downloaded child sex abuse images while running a day care center with her boyfriend, it is claimed. Kadence Pinder, 24, allegedly saved 125 abuse images featuring boys as young as three or four being sexually abused. Her boyfriend Marcus Strebel, 29, is also accused of accessing the illegal images with her. Pinder and Strebel, from Sandy in Utah, were both charged on Tuesday after Google tipped off police to suspected child sex abuse material being uploaded to an account used by the couple.

Deseret News reported that the pair both work for a day care center which operates out of their home. Pinder was previously investigated over an alleged ‘hands-on’ child sexual offense, but the case against her was later dropped. No further details of that allegation have been shared. She previously ran a popular YouTube channel documenting her transition, as well as the realities of life as a transgender person. That account – as well as Pinder’s Instagram and Twitter pages – have lain dormant since 2018.

Pinder previously hit the headlines in 2017 after claiming she was raped by a porn director after attending a casting session. One of Pinder’s final Twitter posts detailed her searches for porn on photo and video sharing site Tumblr, saying: ‘Wait…. You can’t upload porn to @tumblr anymore??? I thought that’s the only reason people even use #Tumblr? ‘Look at me learnin somethin new everyday.’ When questioned about child abuse material found on her electronic devices, Pinder allegedly told police that she thought the youngsters featured were over the age of consent.

She went on to claim that Strebel also had access to a Google account where the images were stored, and may have downloaded something ‘by accident,’ while browsing Tumblr, police say. During a separate interview, Strebel told police that he and Pinder had come across child abuse material while browsing Tumblr for legal pornography, it is claimed. He denied downloading anything illegal, ABC4 reported. The couple were asked to consent to a search of their phones. Both initially agreed – then changed their minds 30 minutes later, prompting detectives to obtain a search warrant. Pinder and Strebel face a combined 25 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor over the images they are accused of downloading. Both are being held at Salt Lake County Jail without bond ahead of their next court hearing.
