How is the pay In as a Seiyu/Seiyuus? They are 100 times more respected in their respective country and don't appear to have a attitude problem like the American vas.

IIRC the big names and up-and-coming ones make a pretty solid amount per episode (not huge, but middle-class) but the lesser known ones struggle. A lot of the newer VAs are also idols too and do music, modeling, etc. IMO it's too "manufactured" these days (especially female VAs) and you don't have as many seriously talented VAs as you did 25+ years ago.

The attitude thing is because Japanese management is intelligent and keeps a lid on their talent. It's not always for the best since there's lots of scum in that industry including allegations of Chris Sabat types both in the management/companies and VAs but it does ensure there is no equivalent of DC Dickless wasting away on Twitter being an asshat. Plus it's a cultural thing--even if you hate your fans and career, you still do your damn job and give them what they want.

Social media is one of the worst things to happen to humanity. I just don't understand why it's considering acceptable to spend your days berating and insulting your fans on the internet and then crying "harassment" and "literal violence" and "anudda Gamergate" when they insult back or when you lose money because people are sick of your shit.

Nick is somewhat interesting in that he obviously just isn't a racist, despite constantly being accused of it, and it's not like he "has a black friend," apparently his best friend in his whole life is a black guy whose lifestyle is the complete opposite of his, and he barely seems to have a white friend.

It reminds me of how any SJW gathering is almost pure white, maybe there's a single Asian, and if you look at supposedly "Nazi" /pol/ gatherings there are whites, Mexicans, even black people, for whatever insane rhetoric gets tossed around there, it's an actually diverse group. It's not like they're going out of their way to recruit or something. Something about the message of these "Nazis" seems to have broad appeal.

Meanwhile get some group of redditors together and they're homogenously white. Even if there's a stray Asian or black guy there, they're all the same in one way.

They're FAT.

It's almost as if these "nazi" meetups are tongue in cheek IRL shitposts filled with people that find that kind of shit funny, whereas the SJW shit is just white people being mad.

It's almost as if Nick is a normal human being. He doesn't care if you're black as coal, yellow as piss, brown as mud, or as pale as a sheet, he just cares about the person under the skin. And he doesn't even need that person as an echo chamber. Drexel is anathema to a lot of what Nick stands for and cherishes, and I think he'd suck off a futa (with balls) take a bullet for Drexel.

Here's the thing about what SJWs mean by privileged:

They mean people who are successful, hard workers, earned their status in a legitimate way etc. All this stems from jealousy and resentment. They literally want them to be as miserable as they are all while taking their place.

Simply put they have a very warped, selfish idea of justice.
