Chantal may have finally unpacked a light from box Mountain and learned to up exposure / brightness settings but her gross skin is still very visible.

Tbf that comment makes less sense if he just said “friend.” The context that it’s a roommate’s cat explains why the cat is in his house.

You know, as rude as it is for Chantal to constantly interrupt/ignore James, I'm glad she does. He is completely insufferable. At least Chantal knows how to have fun, in her own twisted way. Peetz only experiences pleasure when he's smugly shitting on everything normal people enjoy, or writing rape fan fiction. I think he stopped progressing at the same age as his bff, because no one past their teen years should still be in their edgelord phase.
 
Popped into her live for a few minutes to witness Clotso and Peetz's usual enchanting bantz:

I think you're onto something here. Although the sister is 25, so Chantal would have been 11 when she was born. *speculation time* I remember seeing someone say that Chantal used to bully Nat all the time, which would make sense if she was angry at the stepdad and resentful of the new baby taking her mother's attention. Between having her father leave at young age and being rejected by her stepfather, it's no wonder she's got a double-dose of daddy issues.
We also know Nat is healthy and works out, which I'm guessing she learned from her dad. If that's the case, he was probably the first person in Chantal's life telling her to get in shape. Her attitude towards people giving her health advice still has a lot of preteen "you're not my real dad" energy, so maybe it's rooted in that relationship.

Are there any videos with the stepdad in them? Has Chinny ever even mentioned him? I know Nat was in one, and the family dynamic was way off there, so I'd love to learn more about this situation.

She's mentioned him a couple times, also posted a few pictures which she titled family pic. Also, she did go there for dinner for father's day.

More recently, in her last try on haul, she showed the standing ring light her stepfather bought her for christmas, so she'd be able to do try ons in her room. She said she thought it was a "really considerate" gift.

It doesn't seem like things are that bad in stepfatherville.
