With regards to the “reeeeee why won’t bisexuals date us” - an analogy I’ve heard before goes something like “I might like both hamburgers and ice cream but mixing them together to make hamburger flavoured ice cream would just be gross” and it hits the nail on the head. Keep in mind that the amount of people willing to date a trans person may be inflated due to social desirability bias. Some people may report that they would date a trans person even if they wouldn't, simply because they don't want to seem like an "evil bigot." imagine these numbers but halved and you get what's probably a more realistic number.

The two are hardly comparable. I've seen already a few aquaintances, both gay and lesbian, who were very worried about this growing push for troon dick/coochie since they want to stick for the obviously superior choice but they don't want to be stigmatized by their fellow LGBT community for not complying.
