On Jim's adhd-- it's not pure adhd. That is undiagnosed adult adhd making you feel like shit for not being able to do what every other neurotypical person can do with ease, combined with depression and a large serving of undealt-with, maladapted coping mechanisms for trauma.

Powerlevel--I was exactly like this at one point. And I thought the adhd i was beginning to suspect I had, accounted for all of it. Once I got diagnosed I was able to give myself a bit of a break and get some treatment, but I also gradually realised just how much of my executive dysfunction was NOT down to the adhd. The ADHD was part of the problem but there was a lot of healing to do outside that.

I mention all of this not to sperg about my life but because it's relevant to Jim. I suspect the people commenting about how they have adhd and this isn't adhd, are all people who were diagnosed quite young. Getting that support from childhood or even early teens is a game-changer. Again, this isn't just adhd but the effects of having adhd while remaining undiagnosed, plus trauma which we know he's gone through.

Tldr Jim has a lot of shit he's not dealing with and if he gets a dx and treatment for ADHD that's going to smack him in the face sooner or later. Then again we already knew he's not dealing with shit because he trooned out rather than face his problems. No respect for that.

McElroy and everyone he has worked/associated with the 15 years have been very left leaning politically. The entire games review industry pretty much are due to location and the fact that as time moved in if you weren't on the same page as them or at least making it look like you were you would end up left out of their inner circles or just kicked out of the industry.

First of all, signing a legal document so you can't sue your CPA for bogus advice should be the first red flag. That's not normal from what I understand. You find an accountant you can trust. Because that kind of financial relationship is a two way street. On good faith, you agree not to sue each other if things go weird. Because you trust your accountant to be professional (after all you did research who they were first, right?) and they trust you to remain calm and professional also and resolve all matters peacefully. If your accountant needs you to sign anything to prevent you seeking legal recourse it's a good sign that they are GOING to do something that will make you want to seek legal recourse. Find an accountant who won't do that. Simple.

In the UK, data shows that trans people are far less likely to be murdered than non-trans people. There's no "trans genocide" going on. There's no disproportionate targetting of troons when it comes to murder. Compare that to Brazil, where the figure was 1,238, with the trans murder rate rising higher there in the years following 2018, yet Sterling is disgusted at the UK for some reason.

It's the same shit with "hate crimes". In the US, 24% of hate crime offenders where the race of the offender is known were black, despite black people only being 13% of the population, but again, the focus is on the ones committed by whites, even though whites are under-represented in the stats, making up 52.5% of offenders.

It's always the same old bullshit, and no reasonable discussion of this stuff is allowed.
