Lol, not anymore. Equality is off the table, the hot new buzzword among the left is equity. What they actually mean by equity is nebulous, but generally it means "pay ME". I expect to see lots of calls in the next few years for minority groups to be given "equity" in various businesses. It'll work as well as South Africa's minority set-asides. In other words, it'll work like shit and wreck the US economy. For the people pushing this, that's a feature, not a bug.

These people have no common sense and no sense of the future. Look, I get that producing Youtube videos is likely a very fulfilling thing, but how many of these 'professional' Youtubers are just barely making ends meet living in apartments? They're building no equity, no savings, and no retirement. Rather than using Youtube as a side hussle to fund things like a home purchase, pay off debt, or build their savings, they're using it as a full-time gig that won't get them where they want to be in life.
I fully understand how awesome it is to do something you're passionate about for a living, but I get sick and tired of watching YouTubers who complain about depression and burnout, because they have to pull rabbits out of their ass in the hope they just pay rent for the month. Dude, nobody forced this career on you.
Now, if it's made you enough money to purchase a home and build real savings? Sure. Play a little. But that's not true for 99% of the gig economy. Extremely few people are going to stream, youtube, write a book, or do whatever gig it is they do to free themselves. That sucks, but it's reality.
I empathize with these people, but at the same time, you have to use some common sense.
I have a side hussle. I could probably make enough money off of it to make it my full-time job, but without having a house that is paid off and no fully-paid-for retirement, I'm not about ready to quit my full-time career to do it. In a year or two when demand changes or any other sort of factors impact it, it will be extremely difficult to re-enter my career field, because I'll be two years behind the curve. I'm not stupid enough to put my family's livelihood at risk for that.
TL;dr: if your side hussle only pays the bills and nothing else, do not torpedo your actual career to do it.

But a lot of the issue is/was society saying "You need to worry more about a job then family/kids" "You need to put your job first" followed by wage stagnation that has been around since the 70s or so but really starting to feel the effects when GenX and Millennials were starting to get in the age range for College/family/jobs, plus you needing to seemingly have a BS/BA degree to even be looked at for an entry level job (taking away ~4 years of work experience for raises and promotions), mixed in with "job security' being a myth these days, its not a good outlook for those who want kids and be "responsible" about it.

Absolutely on point. Though honestly, it's fair but kind of a shame a lot of the focus is put onto women since despite fertility in men lasting longer it's not like guys don't have drawbacks too.
First of all, the second you hit 30~ your testosterone begins to ever slow gradually decline with absolutely nothing you can do to stop it. You're born with a certain level and you deplete from that level. Eating better, fitness, avoiding foods that negatively effect T count like peanuts or whatever--it helps slow the depletion but it's just set in your DNA dude. Unless you want to be like Joe Rogan and try to pretend you're not aging with TRT and thus make your balls totally inert, you just have to accept it as a man.
Secondly, you have to have enough years under you to conceivably live into your child's adulthood without being a geriatric who gets a heart attack from trying to change your baby's diapers or break a hip tossing a volleyball with them at the beach. That means you better have at least 20 healthy-ish years to you, with or without fitness, meaning if you're still in your 30's then this is your Hail Mary decade, and not even the whole decade either since guys don't tend to live as long as women and you don't want to pass away from typical health issues in your 60's or 70's while your son is graduating from high school.

How many women have undergone the genuinely traumatic horror of carrying a dead child in their womb because people thought it'd be a great idea to tell her from adolescence to focus exclusively work/success rather than on womanhood (which incorporates but doesn't focus on work) ? It's like the Trans movement or abortion--without realizing it women are always the primary target of these insane movements.
Women like June probably used to think they have "until I'm 35" to find a guy and start having kids, but that's like saying you as a driver have "until the cliff" before you decide to hit the brakes and stop speeding down the road. Now the Junes (or Junenites if you prefer) of the world are realizing they had "until their late 20's" not until they were 35, hence the fever pitch desperation even Null caught onto with June. It's all fun and games until these thotty or career-first women get retarded(er) and neck themselves because they think it's fantasy to meet a guy at 32, get married at 33 and start having children...well, at 33.
Besides there's more nuance to the specific 35 age limit than it being an absolute womb death sentence, but that's besides the point.
Anyway, the clock ticks louder in their ears every day and e-thots get freaked out by the idea of never finding a guy suitable to their inflated taste (matching their inflated sense of self-worth), to the point where they hurl themselves bare-ass-first at any handsome face online or, in the case of iDubbz and his girl, a cancer victim face with money.
If these women like June weren't retarded they'd set themselves right and be able to find a good man easy to silence the clock, but they aren't chasing after a man with good character since they themselves don't have good character. Also they're retarded.

Having kids at 30-ish is a realistic expectation if you already have an established relationship, marriage, and already committed to setting money aside specifically for a family, home, so on. It's not realistic when 30 is a woman's starting place to try and find a relationship, to spend months or years looking, then eventually commit to marriage in a couple years. At that point it's a huge gamble.
Girls like June are why it's such a trope to make fun of women who waste their 20s joking around with losers while they loudly announce "I'm cool, I'm fun, I have sex!" ...
