Here goes. I can't help feeling like the last 4 years films were unduly shaped by the influence of Trump in negative aspects. Like blockbuster films became more overtly political (left-wing) due to Trump being in office. Like a form of protest. It started with Ghostbusters 2016 and kind of infected all the big franchises. Until they all ended up being disappointing in some ways. Star Wars, Aliens, Predator, Terminator. XMen. DCEU. Marvel to an extent. Game of Thrones

Kinda glad WW84 got delayed until after the election. It would have been politicised like Ghostbusters 2016.

i genuinely enjoy most of the EFAP content but i also have huge, GIANT problems with it. hard to explain. but i really needed to get some shit off my chest after visiting the TRO conversation for the first time. for context, before i started watching any of these guys, i have watched the members of sardonicast (ralph, YMS, IHE) for many years, so i do have a soft spot for them, especially IHE.

regardless, it infuriated me to find that mauler and rags had a “feud” with IHE and by extension TRO all because, get this, IHE had a different opinion from them and refused to concede that his OPINION was “incorrect”. i’m fucking sorry?? what?? i cannot and will not listen in full to their conversation, the bits i have heard are enough. why is mauler so fucking insistent on bullying IHE to “admit” he was “wrong”? like jesus fucking christ man. don’t you guys have anything better to do than harp on IHE for his opinion/review? must you always defer to your dumbass objectivism whenever someone’s view opposes yours? just none of it fucking matters.

it is just really telling that i could consistently watch IHE and sardonicast while all this was going on, completely unaware of EFAP’s existence, and not know a single thing about this feud. yet now that i have seen the EFAP coverage during this same period, i see that they talked about it for hours on end. they constantly harp and harp on shit that doesn’t fucking matter.

True. I would have liked Ghostbusters 2016 if there was a good script. Problem was that it was an improv movie with no script in sight. Original film was a good movie with a good script made funnier by good actors.

I was looking up DasBoSchitt because I was curious. He career unsurprisingly has been driven to a halt as well, hiatus as he put it. He's yet another of MauLer's close orbiters that have more subscribers than him, over double.
I find the fact that Mauler's editor is paying him hilarious. Also he's a DSP enabler, which makes sense given his past as a DSP compilation Youtuber.
