There's actually a great book called "Irreversible Damage" by Abigail Shrier which touches on how social media in general exacerbates young women's natural awkwardness and self-consciousness during and even after puberty, and how that awkwardness is leading to greater confusion about their bodies and basically wanting to "fit in".
You'll also note that, despite the author's best attempts, the accounts and research data also shows that a lot of problems result chiefly from directionless bad parenting. It's also got some unintentionally funny parts, too.

She's still young (despite what farmers believe, women don't entirely wilt after 30) but she missed the window where she could get back up easily with no job experience.

that's the issue with all this imo.

when you decide you want to live as an "internet personality," it seems like you're getting more freedom. but in reality you are slamming so many doors shut.

the true benefit of a "menial office job" is that it isn't all about you. you learn how to collaborate, you build skills that are useful to others, you create relationships, you contribute to a community. in the process you become increasingly valuable to people in a real tangible sense.

being an internet personality... you're surrounded by losers who will constantly give you approval for morsels of your attention because they have so little going on for them that it makes them feel special. the most telling thing to me is that shoe is in the position to use her platform to at least direct these people towards meaningful causes, but she never has.

one day she'll lose relevancy and nothing she's done up to the point will have really mattered.

speaking of nude womens leaked pics, its mind-boggling how female celebrities are even stupid enough to take nude photos of themselves and saving them in their clour/PC/wherever when they know that at any point they could get hacked/leaked to the public by skilled hackers due to the simple fact that: 1) nude pics of famous people are very valuable for sale in tabloids/yellow press magazines, and 2) they could easily just leak them online for the joy of making a celebrity upset/humiliated.

That's a great book, despite the hordes of trannies who complain about it. I think social media is especially bad for young women and is the reason why more of them nowadays are struggling with depression and anxiety than young boys are. Though, it's a problem that affects all young people.
