Or, and this is just something I'm thinking of, they could have looked for someone who'd give the narrative approved and the one they wanted to hear: the police action(s) were the DIRECT cause of death. Like with Breonna Taylor.

I don't know really. I just think of people are gonna trot out Christian nonsense, they may as well get the fucking shit right.

I mean the George Floyd second autopsy was money wasted anyways. It came back with the same results. "We decided homicide because of the video, but have no physical evidence of it." Which... is gonna get torn apart in court by any competent lawyer.

Edit: Don't know why I said Taylor when I meant Floyd. Brain fart I guess.

I've found that if I ever start to think that maybe some of these rioters are human beings, all I have to do is watch video of them with the sound on. They are things that should be rounded up like jackrabbits and dealt with in the same manner.
I personally have no intention of going out hunting terrorists but listening to them surely makes my resolve wobble.

Self defense is an affirmative defense in Wisconsin.

Affirmative defense means you have to assert it at trial and its up to the jury to decide if they believe you, as opposed to being able to get the charges dismissed by the judge pre-trial (as in some Stand Your Ground states where the prosecution has to present evidence that you did not act in self defense for the case to proceed if you assert self defense pre-trial).

It's part of the reason why "stand your ground" and "castle doctrine" laws exist. There is a fairly long history of the government prosecuting people who were clearly and unquestionably defending themselves (especially black people defending themselves from white people and anti-gun prosecutors to punish gun owners who had the gall to use a gun to defend their life).

Everything but the minor in possession charge is a clear political charge here (being armed illegally does not negate your lawful ability to use said illegal weapon to defend your life).

Didn't the prosecutor already assert Kyle was defending himself? Doesn't seem like they'll have a hard time proving it when the one pressing charges agrees with you.
