Weird how much moralfagging is going on about leaking DMs like it's something that breadtube and breadtube-adjacent people don't already do anyways. I mean damn the number of texts/DMs I've seen leaked via twitter just reinforces the idea that you should never write down anything you wouldn't want seen publicly.

I think the issue is that Quinton insinuated that Sara Z and Lindsey Ellis selectively edited the DMs to make Quinton look bad. Lindsey is a bit of a snake but Quinton seems like a creep so who knows?

Even before the Discord leaks people were jumping on Ellis for leaking the DMs. Quinton is probably a creep if I had to guess, though the man is so awkward he might just legit be that socially retarded and not understand that a non-response from someone SEVERAL TIMES means that they're not interested or to leave them alone. If he sent literally two messages that were both, "Hey, I'm in the area and wanted to collaborate" then whatever, he's doing what YouTubers should be doing. Since he messaged Ellis multiple times (complete with the very manly follow up messages of, "Never mind...") during a time span of seven months (there could be more than what Ellis is showing) with the heavy implication that she never responded or engaged with him goes against his piss poor excuse and misleading example seen in his Discord. Just compare what he's saying here:

We also have a 200+ page thread of Quinton publicly and privately making himself look bad. So if the backlash was from allegeded selective editing of the tweets and responses, then I guess we'll just have to fall back on all the other proof that's available showing Quinton to be a creep/weirdo that will go out of his way to try and make himself look good when he gets to selectively edit what he releases into the world.
