Lou is harping on the fact that he's apologized repeatedly over the recent things that he was called out on. But the thing is, when he was called out on them, he doubled-down on it. "This is why these statements were accurate" was pretty much his response.
An apology is only worth something when it comes from a place of sincerity, when the intention to "change and do better" is also sincere. Since Lou keeps trying to use "I apologized!" as a guilt trip and a weapon, it's very clear that he's not sincere about his apology or his insistence that he'll "change and do better."
And as others have pointed out, whenever someone tries to hold him accountable for his bad behavior, he freaks out. It's a pattern as worn into his life as that diabetic ulcer was worn into his foot.

Honestly no, I can't relate.
Also for the longest time I was thinking Lou really fitted into the classic BPD armchair diagnosis, but this has really shown me how just plain narcissistic he is. I guess if there ever needed to be more examples of how people with personality disorders usually show traits of other disorders along side their main traits, Louie boy would be front and centre.
The attention seeking will carry on and on. Its only good news for us I guess lol, the content will likely stay flowing for a long, long time.

This is why Lou has very few friends beyond fake internet friends that limit their drama interaction with him. He treats everyone like shit. They exist for him to gain things from, whether it be financial assistance or emotional validation. I don't think I've ever seen him make a joke that wasn't mean spirited, or ever even said a kind word to someone that also didn't involve a personal asspat to himself.

In fairness, I don't think either of them do. Pittsburgh isn't really a 'steel city' anymore that benefited hugely from leaving the Paris accords; its economy has been boosted up mostly by the fact that it's got massive biomedical apparatuses, a lot of fintech (surprising number of international ones as well), churns out a lot of great talent from CMU, and is broadly an 'affordable' place to host offices - like the HQ of Duolingo and American Eagle, say. Sure, there's some manufacturing jobs, particularly just outside the city, but they're not the sort that would really be cheering on leaving the Paris accords, and there's probably more than a few places around the city investing a good bit in researching 'green' tech anyways.
On the other hand, Lou clearly does not fucking live in Pittsburgh.
But if he manages to walk for quite a long while indeed when he finally gets kicked out of his mother's house, he would have a shot at dying in Pittsburgh.

Edit: A fucked up self image is one of the key symptoms of borderline personality disorder. As is a fear of abandonment. Lou isn't a narcissist, he's textbook borderline. Although as we all know, cluster b personality disorders can be comorbid... but Lou truly hates himself, no matter how much he tries to pretend he doesn't. He's so painfully borderline.

Ted Cruz's birth name is Rafael. He switched to Ted because his parents called him Felito and he got sick of kids rhyming it with every brand of corn chip on the planet.
