This is one of the things I'm particularly enjoying. All the people cancelling Lou are Tumblrites who put cw on everything, pronouns in their bio, and believe things like 'blocking a trans woman on Twitter is practically abuse'. They're all lowkey cows in their own right, delusional troons and/or furries who spend their terminally online lives in their bubble of snowflakery.

These are the people turning on Lou. Them trying to cancel someone is absolutely nothing new, but not only is Lou one of them, he's also the very rare furry/troon getting cancelled not because he sexually harassed or abused someone, but because he's just such a toxic, lying grifter that they can't just ignore him anymore. Actually dealing with someone shitting up their circles is the nuclear option, and they're using it on Lou because he's just that terrible socially.

It's like the KKK kicking someone out for hating black people too much.

That's such textbook stalker behavior and he legitimately seems to see it as 'being nice' rather than the creepy harassment it actually is. Reading someone's posts even after they unfollowed or soft blocked you (and didnt someone say they had to keep doing that to him because he didn't get the hint the first five or six times?), is a bad idea but not unusual; shoving yourself into their activity notifications is actively malicious.

The old story about the KKK kicking a Klansman out for hating black people too much was based around that guy being unable to talk about anything other than racism.

Lou's in a similar situation - while the people cancelling him are grifters, they have a life outside grifting and can talk about art, politics or what have you. (they produce shit takes when it comes to those things, but that's irrelevant.) Everything Lou says or does is based around his need to grift, in the same way everything that Klansman said or did was based around his racist views.
 
Anyone else really tired of Twitter types taking every swinging dick at face value whenever they say they're trans? It's bad enough that trans people get placed on a pedestal and are given a free pass to behave any shitty way they want, but then you've got people like Louie who get to enjoy the benefit of the doubt by lying about being trans. Trans people are not above criticism and it should be encourage to ask for proof when someone claims to be trans, especially if they're going to be given preferential treatment. Seeing Louie being called "she/her" and people flat out saying that they consider blocking someone "the nuclear option" if they're trans (or just lie about it) is pretty disgusting IMHO.

In fairness, blocking - ie the online version of telling someone ”fuck off, I don't want to speak to you” should always be the last option.

If I didn't know better, I would think that's just a second account Lou has been running that doesn't grift and instead is just used to deflect criticism. But as I know better, I'm leaning more on that being an ERP buddy.
