I knew about the Manosphere before ever joining this site, but the extent of how extreme those websites could get never crossed my mind as much until reading the Loveshy Therapy Center.

Tumblr was one of those things where I was not aware of just how many subcultures and loons thrive on the site. It really opened up my eyes.

I once thought about what would happen if I didn't know any of the depraved, horrifying things I now permanently know because of the Internet, and realized I'd probably just go find out about them all again. When you started out on rotten.com and stileproject way back when and more or less continued on the same path for years, there's little left that is shocking.

I suppose the worst is having to pretend you're shocked at things other people say irl when you're not really.
