I imagine that it's because crossdressing fetishists often have some level of misogyny. Like troons, they see women as being different and lesser to men. Think about how many troons and sissies want to be sexy bimboes whose lives revolve around getting dick, rather than other sort of woman. No troon or crossdresser wants to be a boring homely girl who works the cash register at Home Depot, or a plain grandma who just retired from helping at her husband's auto shop, or a single mother who has no time for dressing herself up because she's too busy getting food on the table. Their vision of womanhood is that of fetishism, dressing up as maids, schoolgirls, strippers, etc. Being a woman to them means being a hot, being female is inherently sexual to them.
And because their view of women is so sexualized, I imagine they have some issues when confronting real women, who have lives beyond sex. They might have issues having empathy for women, since they don't see them as being people beyond their sexual side, and this may make it easier to enact violence upon them.
