Well, like I said, I don't really know as much about TiFs so I only did this for TiMs, but let's brainstorm here. What are the categories of TiFs that you see?

Let's start with the overlap.

✘Reinventors: I'm sure that there are female Incel:Reinventors, but I'm not aware of them. The new mothers who troon out after giving birth maybe? I'd say that those fit better into a distinct category that I'll describe later.
✔︎Straight Chasers: Unlike the gay men who troon out to try to get straight men, these are straight women who troon out to try to get gay men. We usually just call them Fujoshis, I feel like they fit the BPD label better than HSTS:Straight Chasers.
✘Flagellants: I don't think that this is really common for women. At best we have the ROGD crew, but I'd say that this is distinct from HSTS:Flagellants.
✔︎Super Gays: Yes, there is definitely a female equivalent. Butch women. And just like with HSTS:Super Gays, they are a relatively small group that most people picture.

Now, if anyone disagrees with me here I welcome your input. I've got some more reasoning for these, but I think my reasoning is sound. Here are some preliminary female categories that might be useful.

Often into some other body modding stuff.

  • Manlets: resent female gender roles and think that life for men is easier. These are basically female Incel:Transmaxxers, but simultaneously more misogynist and misandrist.
  • Not Daddy's Girl: They just want to get back at their parents, not always their father.

  • Butches: The female equivalent of HSTS:Super Gay
  • Standard Degenerates: They want to get fucked like a slutty twink. They would probably have an easier time getting straight men to fuck them, but they have hangups about doing that as a woman and straight men are probably less interested in getting together with a bunch of men for a ganbang.

Many of the listed themes that @Surfin Terf has given aren't really mutually exclusive and are usually going to co-occur. In fact co-occurence of multiple troon-linked factors in combination with some form of psychopathology (e.g. autism, BPD, body dysmorphia etc.) is usually going to be present.

In all cases, it is a matter of a critical mass of social factors/influences motivating the subject to view trooning out positively or else reduce the salience of perceived obstacles to trooning out. The former acting to produce the belief that one "is" or at least "should" be a woman while the latter allow for the potential troon to feel as though he can act on those desires. So, all typologies shouldn't really be about classifying individuals per se but rather these underlying forces.

To give a more concrete example, you're never going to find someone who trooned out purely to "transmaxx", rather what you'll observe is a guy with some combination of tranny-related paraphilic interests who is also unsuccessful with women, who lacks meaningful real-world friendships that he cares to preserve and has some psychological issues, most likely some combination of Asperger's/HFA, depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, self-worth or body image issues. The "transmaxxing" shit is just the particular explanation he picks to justify himself (at least on the internet) and which further motivates the notion that trooning out could help him feel less depressed or whatever.

I think that's a valid dichotomy, but I wouldn't say it's the core one; I don't really think there exactly is a single core dichotomy. I also don't think it's consistently useful to remark on aversion-desire unless you know a lot about the psychology of a particular individual. In contrast AGP-HSTS is often much easier to observe since all you need is a very small snap-shot of their behavior so that you can judge whether they are naturally feminine or just a regular man.

There's also a degree of horses for courses at play as well, if you're just observing troons for fun or w/e then AGP-HSTS is more useful in understanding their behavior, since aversion-desire is more invisible. However, if you're a psychologist treating a troon in the make then understanding how aversion and desire motivate your patient would obviously be much more useful than the superficial evaluation of "Is this guy really fucking gay?".

If your point is more than aversion-desire maps to HSTS-AGP and captures something more essential about the distinction between these two coarse categories then I'd tentatively disagree. I think you observe both effeminate men who display a positive desire towards assuming a female identity (i.e. believing that being a gay man is no fun compared to being a woman because you don't get fuck straight guys) as well as AGP-types who fall into troonism due to aversion to stereotypical masculinity or due to 'failure' as a man. 'Amelia', posted just above is a kind of example of this. He wrote a long rambling story about how insecure he is here which gives you the impression that he was trying to escape being a man as much as anything else.
