I hope he makes a full recovery. Not least because otherwise, if you're a staunch Christian type like Jenna Ellis, who has no doubt prays every night you'd always have to wonder if maybe God had misinterpreted your prayers which would raise all sorts of awkward theological questions.

If triggered, EO 13848 compels a federal government investigation of possible interference by foreign governments. The report by John Ratcliffe the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) theoretically must be presented within 45 days of the election — which means by Dec 18. Eight days to go.

Of course, Bannon reckons the new Acting FBI director is refusing to appoint a special prosecutor. This raises the question of who would actually enforce EO 13848 if Trump were to invoke it.
