I quickly calculated what payments would be for an income of $2000 a month. The only other parameters I considered was that he would have 0% custody and he would owe $410 a month.
I did the same calculations if he makes $4000 a month and he would owe $830 a month in support payments.
California has some of the most strict child support collection rules in the country.
Because the baby will be born in California, that is the state of jurisdiction.

Either way Faith has the power here and I hope she educates herself on this stuff as dealing with family court can be overwhelming.

I imagine that if he really wants to have a fight over custody, in his current state (of being) I can't imagine he would have much of a chance at getting a child. I don't know what the relevant laws would be, but this is a man that lives in his Mother's crack-shack, is an alcoholic felon and has no stable job. I don't believe he will be winning a child custody case against the Vickers. Ralph is probably not going to give a fuck about the child anyway, so you may as well get some lemons out of him.

I do wonder if Faith did suggest something like that in the "Suicide bait" message directly after the "Revenge porn 3" one. Money comes up and Ralph threatens suicide, which I imagine is how he will be reacting to the child support payments.

He has something like $35k in the bank, I feel like that wouldn't last half a year with a girl, baby, mother, and drinking habit to support. After that he's super fucked unless he gets a day job, at which point his college debtors could probably begin garnishing his wages. He'd probably end up garnished by both them and Faith because I doubt he'll take his child support obligations seriously.

We'll reach that point very soon, no later than baby's birth + 6 months I'd think. I agree that Ethan will plunge in to alcohol and drugs as that unravels and he'll be bound for death or prison.

But there is a third option.

Null said he offered Faith .15 Bitcoin for naming rights on the guntling. I know nothing of crypto but google tells me that's almost $3k. If Null has money like that then it's very possible he could afford to literally buy the gunt as some sort of indentured servant. What do you think would be a fair market price on him right now? Surely less than $3k.

The only card I can see him holding if he wants to get custody is the mental condition of the mother, bring up the mental facility stay. Other than that, she holds all the other cards.

I hate to put this out there, but I have a feeling Reethan is going to pussy out of IRL streaming in Tampa. He is just so fucking sensitive and is clearly on the edge as it is. I think he knows he’s not going to be able to roll with the punches when TTS starts blaring “KILL ALL NIGGERS!” I just don’t see it happening. He’s too weak and he knows it.
