Has anyone checked out Dr Will Powers, the God-King of crazy troon quacks? Apparently he's "innovated" such things as using estrogen cream on the face, butt-chugging progesterone, and he recently had a Reddit meltdown.

Sometimes I would really love to be in the mind of someone like that for an hour, just to see what it's like. I guess I honestly cannot imagine how someone must think to feel that things like xenogenders and 'microlabels' make sense and are totally natural or that you can call youself a trans demiboy or whatever and expect people to not think that you're just a cringy teenager.

I know the dead horse has been beaten lots at this point, but I do feel sorry for 'zoomers' sometimes. I had a computer since the age of five and internet shortly thereafter and my parents never bothered to check or restrict at all what I did with it, and I saw my share of stuff that a kid should not have had access to. But at least smartphones weren't a thing, social media wasn't a thing etc. I really, really wonder what it's like to grow up with social media as a natural part of life. Obviously it doesn't seem very good for you.

I think there's definitely some psychological benefit to it. Looking at r/detrans once in a while, there's plenty of people talking about the various problems they tried to hide from by trooning out, and of course, there's also more than a few who said they were groomed by TRAs online. I'd file it under a maladaptive coping mechanism; affirmation of the new gender relieves the anxiety about the assigned gender.

Now, the troons who turn around and use this sort of thing as a bludgeon to assert their moral primacy and make demands of others to bow to their desires or else face the wrath of Twitter, they can fuck right off.

FTMs look like that because they want to exercise control over their bodies. I’ve seen FTMs say that about tattoos. It’s basically the same as being anorexic.

I tried watching this but was too distracted with how feminine her body language and manner of speech are. It often seems like FTM are more girly than most normal girls despite the retarded clothes and hair cuts.

What isn’t a social construct is that they have evolved to live in a cold environment but one with lots of seal blubber to eat.

Likewise, gender roles are often socially constructed. ‘Pink for women’ is arbitrary. ‘Men can’t wear skirts’ is arbitrary. What isn’t arbitrary is that men and women are biologically distinct. That’s not a construct of society. It would continue to be true without society.
