Judging by the coloration on that Jeep photo it was probably taken in the late 70s to early 80s yet I notice Len was about the same fatness then as he is now.
 
Hey, Len. Some friends and I are restoring an old SANTA FE Baldwin 4-6-4 out at our local historic depot. The superheater header is cracked, but not so badly as to cause it to lose all compression in the piston cylinder. I heard you're experienced in this and nobody else on this forum is, any ideas? I'm thinking if we seal the header, it'll roll but not sure that could be the only problem?

I'll try harder next time.
