The downside is that these people will be thrust into positions of power over people who are more qualified/sane. The upside is that they'll be inept and drag the overall efficacy of whatever insanity they try to push.
How exactly has the governement neglected people 'living on the margins'? There is not reasonable argument to be made to back that, as the exact opposite is true. The state, specifially her state, Michigan, has doubled and even trebled assistance to the poor this year. No one has been left behind, not a single person was left wanting for food, housing, or medical assistance.

Arts as a whole are a melting pot of utter madness and unwarranted self importance. Nowadays voice actors are getting major recognition like few times before, and with it comes all the hubris that one expects of mainstream artists. And what is more en vogue among artists of all sorts than pretending to be outraged over the many injustices that happen in the world? Pick a noble cause, tweet about it like a spaz and rake in the likes and the dopamine hits. No one in their right mind would take a stance against, say, racial equality or climate change control, and if you're famous enough you'll get a legion of stans and simps to defend your honor for free.
It's kinda-sorta like this down here as well, except the voice actors are paid peanuts and usually do something else with their lives, though mostly related to the arts. They mostly do it for fun and genuine appreciation for the job, and that's why a good portion of our dubs do pretty damn well. Rarely, if ever, do they attempt the same stunts that Charlie Adler and Tara Strong pull.

The fuck do you mean "see God's not dead films"? Who even thinks about those regularly? The best example you have of le right wing bad is some random obscure shit like that, really? Meanwhile lefties have managed to torpedo relatively big-name shit like Star Wars and Mass Effect, the only reason they didn't kill Ghostbusters was because they made their shit into some shitty reboot and Captain Manvel only didn't completely fail because of its placement in the movie series.

I got this guy confused with Charles Fleischer, the voice of Roger Rabbit, but in a funny coincidence he did voice Buster Bunny from Tiny Toons.
But for real, this guy is the epitome of "lol calm down", fucking embarrassing.
