I'm assuming it's him because the profile lists BHBH as a place of work. This would be outdated since Hughes left.
I don't know enough about the "Douglas Hughes" the article mentioned other than his name and that he's based in Tyler.
Search variations (e.g. "Douglas Hughes lawyer Tyler Texas") only give me BHBH Hughes.

I somehow doubt that James Arnold Taylor didn't reblog these things on parler. He's claiming that, yes, he had an account, but someone hacked it or something to reblog these specific things. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Even if he did reblog them, who cares? It's standard conservative stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if he's conservative and genuinely holds these views, given that most christians seem to be conservative.
Kinda disappointed that he decided to deny everything and delete his account. He could've just made it clear that those were his viewpoints, but that he still respected everybody else's views and sexual identities and stuff. Oh well. Guess he chose the safer route.
