I think so, and that makes sense to me, so...
TBH, it'll be hell no matter who wins. Trump wins? Riots from the left. Biden wins? Probably "celebrations" (read: riots) from the left and maybe some riots from the right, though I expect mostly just saying "welp, our voting systems are done for."

1.2 million votes.
Biden allegedly beat Trump 2,795,184 to 2,649,063 = 146,121 votes.
Gary Peters (D) allegedly beat John James (R) for senate by 2,725,692 to 2,640,672 = 85,020 votes.
The 8th and 11th House districts were nail-biters.
In a race for two open Supreme Court seats, (officially non-partisan, but nominated by the parties)
Incumbent Mary McCormack (D) got 2,373,860
Elizabeth Welch (D) got 1,488,431
Mary Kelly (R) got 1,252,267
Brock Swartzle (R) got 1,009,754
McCormack has a comfortable lead, but Welch only beat Kelly by 236,164 votes.
Depending exactly what gets tossed, this could get James into the Senate, at least two more Republicans into the House, and keep our state Supreme Court at 4-3 Republican, to say nothing of the state house of representatives.

You just reminded me that the "Jesus Matters" lady, Beveyln Beatty was stabbed in DC on election day by a bunch of thugs who were trying to stab an old white man who was walking alone. Bev got stabbed in the lungs, and the hospital wouldn't give her antibiotics because they declared her to have COVID problems with her lungs and blamed a lot of obvious being stabbed through the lungs problems on that instead of well, being stabbed.
I watched this hour long video on all the stuff they did to her in that hospital and it I have to say it was pretty fucked up. She was out of it from the pain and thinking they were trying to kill her while she was stuck to a tube not able to leave. Meanwhile no one is allowed to near her due to COVID. Pretty scary situation to be in. The hospital also tried to stop her detective from contacting her.
This was the first story of random attacks in DC I read about, and I've been slowly seeing more ever since.
The thugs told Bev the reason they were out that night was to straight up look for blood.
