For some reason, DSP ended yesterday's Pokémon playthrough with the notion that his Pokémon Sword streams never were about the money, and that he didn't care about receiving only $26 in tips.

Clip:

Pokémon Sword not about money.mp4

I laughed out loud and decided to make a compilation of the huge amount of moments during the Pokémon Sword playthrough where, in true DSP fashion, he himself completely and utterly contradicts this very notion.

Enjoy.

I fucking love you, man.

#toteshomo.

Like so many things he was at the right time right place to climb to the 'heights' of the FGC even heights for him meaning getting at most 4th place on that weird port and becoming hated and broke.
Omg where to even begin with this post *chuckles/shakes head*. Did he place 4th? Ok yeah I guess, if you want to play mental gymnastics...but...those 3 other players were all from Asia and everyone knows Asians are insanely good. So in actuality Phil got 1st place as an American player.

This is just a silly Youtube comment but it gave me a chuckle.

Shaking the screen with his throat clears was a nice touch

I think he’s using “our” to refer to anyone that ordered a ps5 with him. At least according to the few results for “our ps5” pigpiggo. Weird usage

During pokemon
Prestream
Inb4 "Khet bought a PS5 with her own money guys, isn't that great!"

Because DSP needs to use video games to soothe the demon inside his beard- er- wife.

This is why I love DSP lore. He can barely afford to put food on the table and his wife just casually buys an additional video game console. Cracks me up.

That mobile game rant tonight was pure gold. He talked about checking his old games and accounts, claimed he stopped playing mobile games in 2017
Late as fuck but I wanted to share an interesting piece of DSP history to retcon this bullshit that Phil said. If you go back to his infamous CT marriage trip he says he was pissed because he bought the internet package on the plane "to get on the internet or play some mobile games or whatever." Fun fact: the absolute moron bought one internet package because he thought it was good for two people.

Um, one more hour of Watchdogs Legion here on the stream. Now guys. Please listen up, alright. Um, I need your help. Seriously, like, the last week's been very slow. I need to afford a bunch of games this week. Your support is greatly appreciated. Right now, the top cheerer is a five hundred bit cheer from [cuck's name redacted], the top tip is a twenty-two dollar tip from [cuck's name redacted], with thirty-one dollars in total tips, alright. The stream, this is the third straight day that the stream's, the stream's been slow for contributions, alright. I understand, this is not a great game. I get that.

But, if you want me to play the good games coming up, I need your help. So if you can, please contribute. I prefer tipping, 'cause that's gonna allow me to buy those games right away, other contribution methods, cheering and subbing are great, but I won't see any positive effect from those until at the very earliest the middle of next month, alright. Tipping is really what I need help with right now. If you can, alright. I'm not asking for you to go beyond your means, I'm not asking for you to go out of your way, I'm saying if you were going to contribute or maybe you were holding off to contribute later this week, uh, it makes more sense to contribute now so I can afford these games coming up. This is the third straight day that things have been very slow for contributions. I get it. Watchdogs Legion ain't great. I get it. But I need the help, alright. So if you can, please do.
But, I thought that tips were just like how you tip a waiter as a sign of gratitude for good service? I guess at the restaurants Phil goes to when the food and service are terrible, the waiters there beg for tips and promise him that sometime in the future it will be better, that must be why he's okay with doing this.

Hi Phil! Responding to your analogy above ^^
IF tips you receive really are like a waiter at a restaurant, then you're doing a horrible job. It's that simple. You have no one to blame but yourself for not getting as many tips. It means your streams the last 3 days were shit. Do better. Play better. Stop being an obnoxious shithead if you want tips. But we all know you're incapable of that so keep crying, bitch.

Speaking of his analogies, remember how he reacted to the Stadia guy's tweet by saying that the company who makes the paint can't make any profit off a painting an artist created with their product? We all know that Phil never does anything wrong, he does everything correct, and so logically slow contributions are the fault of the game. But it seems like this painting analogy that he clings to becomes pretty shaky when the paint is entirely responsible for the quality of the painting, and the artist just has no ability to create a product that other people would want to see.

He got $30 right near the end of this stream from Jakileez.
These streams are almost always punctuated by one recurring mini-whale... NoCouture, SilentBob, Merdok...
They're typically around $30 with the occasional anomaly, and it is almost always either none or one of them, very rarely ever several simultaneously. So what's the deal with this elite wheelchair battalion? Are they communicating? A handful of people with several names? They're starting to stand out in the post-vest streak era because Phil would be (and sometimes is) under $50 every stream if not for one of them showing up with their $30, or some drive-by whale tipping a massive amount. He appears to almost expect to hear from them because he rarely checks the veracity of tips attached to their names on stream.

Is there proof that Kat will divorce Phil, or is this something people are hoping for?
No, but some things are starting to get questionable. We haven't seen her in... what, two years? At all?
Stories Phil tells certainly make their relationship sound awkward (fitting with what we've seen), so you could zero in on those details as proof of something.
Even right now, Kat is apparently on vacation for 2 weeks from her job (just as Phil desperately needs financial help...), and Phil has all of a sudden started doing 'overtime' on the day streams. That really makes no sense with his marriage narrative because he complains he never gets to spend time with her. Now that she is home during his dinner break, he has actively started staying later on stream, cutting down on the time that is spending with her on these extra days she is there.
Kind of makes you wonder.

Phil just concluded stream by saying that his push for tips is to compensate for chargebacks. He was in a great place where he could have afforded everything, and then the chargebacks hit and he lost it all.
Again, mathematically, this requires us to believe that Phil got $6000 in chargebacks to negate the massive boost he received specifically to cover these expenses, or at least $2000 since that was his estimated cost of the PS5 tech.
Remember he had a massive meltdown over that potential (never happened as far as we know) $800 chargeback. But we're supposed to believe this dude got multiple thousands in chargebacks from Phil and all we got was some extra begging to hit tips goals?

In the time that I've followed Phil, I've never seen a period of abject nonsense last this long. Usually some narrative stabilizes it, but he's really just running with the crazy now.

Ostatnio edytowane:
The desperation is just oozing from the screen with another "slow" stream: $62 in tips, and $52 of that came from just two people (OneMinuteMan and Jakileez). He has ramped up the begging and guilt-tripping to the maximum.

I don't know exactly what's going on, but lately a lot of whales have not been opening their wallets like they've been doing for the past 6 months or so, though I fully expect the wheelchairs dumping their money on him when he's doing the whole new console thing that's coming up.

Fun fact: with approximately $5,700, October was the "slowest" month since March ($5,200) regarding tips.

-EDIT- Case in point:

1604801776300.png

Full-on hardcore begging for the whole world to see after receiving over $65,000 dollars in tips since January 2020 AND getting rid of thousands of dollars in monthly credit card payments in the meantime. And that's not even counting money from cheers and subs (you can add an average of around $3,000 per month for that).

It's absolutely stunning that there are still autists out there that think they're helping him by dumping their money into the bottomless pit that is DSP's finances. It's. Never. Enough. Not now, not ever.

Adults even married ones usually have some trace of an online presence nowadays. We know khet tried starting her own YouTube career and would given her own devices have an online presence. So its sorta weird she just vanished after marriage.

My guess is that she refused to pose for photos or do any lovey dovey sh÷= for phil to wave in front of his audience so he relented and she just stays away from inadvertently releasing any evidence of their little house mate arrangement as her side of the bargain and he provides room and board and a stipend.

She "vanished" two years before the marriage. It looks like she stopped posting anything around the time she started talking to Phil.

There aren't many people she likely wants to keep in contact with. Mom is out of the picture. Dad left decades ago. Step dad is dead. Sister Chelsea is allegedly a huge bitch and sister Jenna is a homeless prostitute. Kat allegedly hated it in Michigan and perhaps cut ties with everyone there. Her friends at work she can either talk to in person or maybe she strictly uses text messages.

If Kat and Phil never go anywhere or do anything, there isn't much to post anyways. Is Kat going to post an Instagram pic of the potatoes she mashed? Not after the kiwis criticized every single thing Phil showed us that she ever made.
