Someone pointed out somewhere that Biden and Harris are absolutely not on board with defunding police in any genuine sense. They're absolutely correct. You don't need to worry about police going away under a Biden/Harris administration. You DO need to worry about federalization of police forces, especially if Dem-run areas defund/budget-cut their local police into irrelevancy.

It warms my blackened heart knowing that many of these Democrat-favored projections assume that every vote from a registered Democrat was for Biden, when myself and a number of people I know are still registered Democrat but vote red.

The problem is they see 2018 and how close some of the races were and think that means GA is going blue, when in reality the republicans just fielded weak candidates against a DNC offensive.
2020 is *more likely* to be a repeat of 2016 because Trump is a strong candidate, Trump has enthusiasm, right-leaning Georgia voters actually WANT to vote for Trump.

The Reps seem to have tightened up candidates as well. There were still a lot of the old guard RINOs and others and they got cut through like the Reaper popped a blue pill before going on a rampage.

Aside from any intentional flushing, age will take its toll. The silent generation are becoming the very silent generation and the boomers are retiring and dying. John McCain didn't stop being an issue because people voted against him.
