Still haven't found one that can handle several hour long livestreams, including youtube-dl. I just get the first 1 second when I try.

Youtube-dl will deliver nothing or an incomplete file until a long livestream is done processing. JDownloader will do the same, although it gives a better error message.

Streamcatcher is the only way to handle these AFAIK (and can start capturing while the stream is still being broadcast).

Youtube-dl doesn't let you download protected movies on Youtube, if these faggots are too stupid to use proper protection code then that's their problem.
