I wanna reiterate something I said earlier in the thread after seeing the statement by Michael and Jack:

People, and I'm including myself in this, tend to give people they like the benefit of the doubt. I've liked Ryan since the days when he was in the back room and they had to drag his ass to sit on a couch to play games with them. He's worked hard for years onscreen to give the impression that he's a dutiful husband, "Yes, dear" "I love you" shit like that when he's on air, talks about his wife like she's his world. I am all sorts of disappointed that he's done this to his wife and especially his kids.

It's easy to look at the Off Topic video where he talks about staying a few days extra and see what was going on now, it was obvious that some of them had some thoughts about that statement, so why didn't they make the connections? They didn't want too. He was their friend and yeah I get it, he's a coworker but when you've worked with someone for so long and been friends with them it's easy to make subconscious excuses for the things they do.

I still want to know just who paid for those extra days? Was it RT? If so that'll be interesting.

As for the reaction Michael and Jack had, I really don't think they are faking, Jack for one will bawl at the drop of a pin, he cries like a baby every Extra Life marathon, Michael however doesn't, and I dunno how it looked to some of yall but his anguish looked genuine. Also Jack is a giant faggot for inserting politics into this. "Hey I know our friend raped lots of our fans and were really sore about that but hey, don't forget to vote".

I genuinely think Michael did no acting with this. I have never seen him like this and he seems really broken and crushed. Jack deserves an Oscar for best Actor in a Lead Film because he was able to switch on a dime between topics and he was having a couple chuckles in there. I dont know how you can stream after going through that. AH is done. There cannot be anything that comes out of this, the atmosphere is destroyed, the relationships are dismanteled, I cannot see them come out of this.

I also thought it was interesting that this would not be discussed any further. What? This has been your life for the past week and you have so many memories together. If you have an alcoholic mother who died, you cant just "erase her," she will still be brought up in conversations like "remember the good ol days?" This decision makes it so they cannot talk about AH before October 2020, because Ryan was so integral in the company and content. AH is fucked, RT is done, go and vote. At a rough estimate they will have around 587 videos left after cutting out everything Ryan was in. Imagine being a ten year old company that makes videos tri-weekly and only having ~600 left after the cull.
The context for so many in-jokes, merch and even the reasons some videos even exist is gone.
I can't imagine AH gets many new fans but I'm almost certain they will struggle to get many more now. Their back catalogue is in ribbons. That has to be disheartening to the point of wanting to just pack it all in.

The more I read their twitter / lurk their tumblr, the less it makes sense. She mentions a bunch about how she was barely involved in RT/AH, how they never met in person, how they only talked. And she never took screenshots - even though she could have went back and taken them when this shit first came out (since I don't think deleting your DMs on twitter deletes it for the other person, but can't do shit now since his accs are down.)

Her tumblr is full of e-begging in addition to the GF/wife/ex's fundraiser for a service dog too. Interesting to note that her follower count has also jumped from 30 to 113 in the last couple days. Putting on the tinfoil, I think she's gonna keep on the "ryan and me had an experience" and be extremely vague with the details and ride it out. Michael and Jack's statement from the stream mentioned how Geoff is taking it hard and "dealing with alot of stuff on his own right now". He's always been unable to handle cruel things when it came to kids/teens, in part because of having a daughter of his own.
