Not to add that bringing back Obama would remind people of the terrible shit he's done, especially in the rust belt states that Joe is trying to win.

Obama could not give Hillary a win in 2016, why would it work now. Many progressives the woke and non woke hate him for different reasons. The geniune anti-war crowd despises him. A small portion of blacks see him as a mulatto that did jackshit for them. Hell Obama will probably remind many in the Rust Belt why they trended red over his 8 year term. Jon Stewart lost faith in him at the end and Lewis Black said it best that he would be remembered for being the first black president and that is about it.
He gave a boost at the Democratic National Convention and it tanked the next day when Biden showed up by himself. And the right wing media is about to experience another renaissance when Obama starts shilling for Biden.
This is no cope posting here, Obama was popular at the end of his term and was drawing large rallies for Hillary. However when it mattered, California was probably the only state upbeat for Hillary.

Today Baris did the in-depth analysis of the crowdfunded PA poll, he has Biden +2.4%. But Trump has some very strong indicators in his favor. Baris notes that Biden is underperforming where Hillary was at the same time, and PA broke extremely late for Trump in 2016, within the last 1-2 weeks of the race.
If FL is secure then PA becomes the linchpin of the race. Every other path for Trump depends on a flip, like MN or NH or NV, plus a shaky-looking MI hold. I like what Trump's doing with the schedule; after the Wu Flu diagnosis he can't afford to try and run up the numbers. He needs to fight for PA and MI, go for the MN flip, and maybe invest a day in NH trying for a payoff there.
Biden is fighting for PA heavily as well. These FL visits seem like tokens, there's probably behind-the-scenes organizing going on trying to get ballot shenanigans going in Broward again.
But neither side seems to be taking MI too seriously. Trump has a visit coming up, but he isn't hitting it hard, and Biden's ground game was reported as being invisible there. So I'll extend the Biden shenanigans theory to MI as well; he's counting on the governor to deliver the state by

They must have come up with some stupendous bribe for Obama. If he campaigns for another loser it tarnishes his image, which is the only thing he cares about. Maybe it's because a conservative SCOTUS majority is likely to wipe away most that remains of his legacy. Or maybe they've convinced him that the fix is in and they've guaranteed a Biden victory.

I think another reason is that if Obama didn't campaign for his former vice president then it would hurt his reputation by making people think of how low he thought of Biden's chances and didn't even try to help him. If Biden lost, I don't think that would take a huge hit to his reputation but if Biden lost and Obama didn't bother helping him then Obama would be smeared as the reason Biden would lose.
Of course the theory of the fix being in for Biden would also convince Obama especially if Biden/Harris continue "his" legacy which would help restore his ego that was shattered by Trump beating Hillary.

You obviously not talked to an actual mormon. They hate Trump as a person and see him as everything that goes against there religion.
I know many who will be voting red but there disgust with Trump is well known in the mormon community. Hell even the LDS church spoke out against him for the whole Muslim travel ban.

Continuing his legacy? I was getting that same exact line from black friends in 2016.
Guess what happened? Hill lost.
If they allowed Obama's legacy to be shit on in 2016, arguably at the height of his notoriety and height of approval with blacks, why would they turn out now?

Why PA in particular?
As I said, from my perspective, it's 1:4 for Biden Trump.

It's Biden 2.4%, but yeah, statistically tied.
Things also worth noting,
- Undecided leaners are leaning towards Trump by 4.3%
- Biden is doing a little better among rural votes but that might be just a polling issue. So far, they are going for Trump 58-30
- English ancestry was extremely over represented in this poll yesterday, which is why he went to get more people of different ancestry
- Trump's worst issues are healthcare and coronavirus, which is why he considers Barrett a terrible appointment choice so close to election
- Trump's best issues are the economy and policing and crime
- Shocked that Trump is carrying Chester County - where voter registration has heavily trended Democratic - yet not Bucks County which has not trended Democratic as much (and has even been reversing to Republicans in the past six months)
- Republicans - including Trump - are missing opportunities to warn people of the danger of Democrats packing the Senate (by giving Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood) and how uncomfortable most voters would be if Harris became president in case Biden could not serve out his whole term
- Lackawanna County is about even, maybe Biden +2, Luzerne has Trump has a twenty point lead, and Trump might take Monroe
- Democrats are very concerned about Western Pennsylvania, particularly Allegheny County where fracking is a big part of the economy since Biden and Harris has said he will ban fracking (and even when he flipped flopped, said it was happening anyway)
- Predicts Central Pennsylvania will do better for Trump than his poll suggests he will clobber Biden 65-35 over there, also thinks Centre County will be hard for Biden to hold on to
- Trump and Biden are both polling slightly worse in Allegheny County but he thinks Trump will do slightly better in Allegheny overall when undecided voters lean towards him
- Trump is doing slightly better in Philadelphia County (not necessarily the city)
- Trump is doing about the same in Southeast Pennsylvania, thirteen point margin behind Biden
- Biden is still leading in Bucks County but Trump is doing a little better than seven points behind
- Biden is doing better in Western and Northeast Pennsylvania but again, rural voters are extremely hard to get
- Blacks are giving Trump 16% of the vote, Hispanics 25% of the vote, and Asians/others 22%
- Nearly half of Pennsylvanian voters do not trust the integrity of the election
- Most people believe that the "shy Trump" vote does exist

Honestly, if Biden actually had a plan in regards to COVID other than "Mask mandate that is easier said than done, so it probably won't happen, but I promise it!" and "let's tank our economy with a 3-month long lockdown," then I could see him winning the Presidency with ease. COVID is the one issue where the media has pretty much won in regards to making Trump look bad. Even if the bad stuff happened because of state leadership (and not federal), the useful idiot normies will always blame the POTUS.
Literally, Biden's only campaign platform has been "Orange Man Bad." Anything in regards to policy is anyone's guess, since he changes his narrative all of the damn time.

Yeah honestly Biden doing "lockdowns" and a "mask mandate" could probably lose him votes as many Americans just want things to return to normal and Trump is the only other major candidate offering that, but even then it will not guarantee him victory as there are still a few weeks left till the election.
