So what incentive would anyone have to use SA at this point, anyway? The majority of notable users have already left the site years ago, leaving nothing but screeching SJW types left. I think it goes without saying that from an outsider (eg non-SA user) perspective, Lowtax did irreparable damage to the SA brand, and Jeff will be lucky if he even gets a fraction of SA's reputation back.
Lowtax's constant carrying on about his marital troubles only brought more attention to them and SA's shitty userbase than if he had just shut up, it's the perfect example of the Streisand Effect in action, and airing that shit out in public makes you untrustworthy and unreliable. If I had any affiliation with SA, I'd feel like I had to be watching my back all the time, fearful of what the hell Lowtax/Jeff might say or do next, and if you disagree with any of it, you'll probably be banned on the spot.
This feeling translates to potential new users/customers as well. There's absolutely no way in hell I'd go anywhere near SA now because other than a new owner, absolutely nothing's changed. I simply don't believe the moderation team is stable enough, and therefore I wouldn't want to invest any time or money in the forums for fear of what "radical" action a mod could take at any time.

This was the case with Something Sensitive and aatrek. Nigga’s sex offender profile page was the top hit when you put in “Aaron Patrick Nadler” who looked exactly like aatrek’s avatar and his weight loss progress pictures. Yet goons were insistent it was all a conspiracy to take down a beloved goon mod. They wouldn’t acknowledge the evidence they could independently verify in a matter of seconds because it would acknowledge that a board full of banned pantsshitters had something over on SA, especially since goons were feeling high and mighty about doxxing Reddit mod violentacrez. Goons are awful people.

Sure, Lowtax was already run out of his dead gay forums by the same people who "supported" him. And has already sold that same dead gay forum which was his only source of income. And his Patreon lost a huge amount of money which won't be coming back because people won't donate to it for Something Awful anymore.
