The answer to this is because you can't go anywhere online nowadays without some exceptional "trans" person shouting about how trans they are, and how evil everyone else is for not showering them with affection and gifts. Before these psychos took over the LGBT movement, trans people were just people doing their own thing and looking to live their lives and the vast majority of people didn't pay any attention to them outside of a bemused "huh". This new crop of internet transtrenders has set things back for actual trans people (and the rest of the LGB people) by years because of their behaviour and compulsive need to be the center of attention.
