Honestly I think Amanda put up with a lot of Conrad's insanity. The first year must have been great for them though. I think it would be better for her to just finish whatever she promised people and to cut her internet presence short, for at least a year. I don't want to go as far as to say I'd simp for her, but her putting out a public video vs patreon exclusive is notable. She seemed fairly reasonable and tame (aside from the jab at Conrad's dental hygiene, which is also very justified imo).

Long story short, Conrad is never going to be his own "man" anymore, in any shape, size or meaning. Even though she says that Conrad was "her life for the longest time", in a year she will be happy to know she missed the bullet of an unsuccessful marriage, something Conrad still sees as a wispy future possibility. He had it right in his hand and he let it slip.

I've seen people driven to the brink of reaching the bottom, but Conrad is the first I've seen to just openly admit he doesn't want to feel responsible for anything unless it interests him. He really is the avatar of sloth. Man-child incarnate.

Digi ultimately drove May away for understandable reasons. Digi and May were codependent on each other for different reasons. She did indulge in Digi's fantasies but this video and such makes me think she still felt maybe there was a place for her in the relationship until she realized the complete changes and then the things Digi said. We all know May is known to say anything to agree with what Digi says in damn near every case, so I am willing to bet regarding at least some things regarding Digi's transition, she was not entirely upfront about it and Digi may have gotten the wrong impression which drove them apart. As for Digi, he is off the deep end really, we already saw this when he wanted to put more of the labor intensive work onto May and now saying they need a man in their life. Digi even when talking about sexuality and previous experiences never really came off like attracted to men to the same degree as women, and pretty much wants to just sit in a female gender role.

As I've said before in an older post, they must have had a long "honeymoon period" as what is more romanic than understanding eachother's flaws and being okay with that. Most of us would kill to feel a connection like that for even a short time. And Amanda is just what she was, a raving fan with a love for her favorite internet creator. For her it must have felt like fate brought them together. And then the bad times came knocking. We all do stupid things like lots of unresponsible sex, booze, drugs or any other kinds of obsessions when we are young. But it's up to the person in question to realize they need an adult approach and enough is enough. By the time Conrad was a full stoner, he already had a different dealer.

I gotta say, after watching May's video I only further believe this entire kidnapping was complete bullshit. In no alternate universe would the police not immediately arrest a man who attempted a kidnapping. For May to pretend this was some hyper-traumatizing event but no one is doing anything to bring this guy to justice for his crimes is outright ridiculous. Whatever the truth is, its nowhere near what they are portraying it to be. Maybe this guy was invited over and got creepy with May, but however this went down it doesn't look like any laws were actually broken. Otherwise, yeah, he'd be in prison in a heartbeat - the victim would not be begging randoms on the internet to give her the perpetrator's personal info.

Tl;dw: Digi is kind of crazy right now, but most of it is just to hide from all of his responsibilities. Everything everyone ever speculated in this thread about him trooning out destroying his relationship and just about everything else was correct.

I'm reminded of the film Twins featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito where one of the Twins got all of the good genetics and the other is a Le 56% face facsimile. From this point I can only see Digibro spiraling further around the drain whilst Victor only succeeds in his endeavors.

Shit like Is the Order a Rabbit? and K-On is the kind of stuff where you really need to start acting a little concerned I think; that's where it starts to shift away from being entertainment to being escapism. Especially because a lot of those show's star little girls, and yet all the content is aimed at men. You mix that with people who have identity and personality issues, mix in a little weed, and worst of all some internet infamy, and it's no wonder people like Digi end up like a fucking potato mentally.

People used to blame Rock and Roll for a lot of shit too though, so I try to err on the side of caution when it comes to blaming the art. At the end of the day it's retards like Digi who have the capacity to decide what's best for themselves. Maybe chopping his dick off is the right decision? If this was the best he could do maybe he should be removed from the gene pool and especially from potentially harming children.

This could be you Digi! Take the hormones and live out your dream of chopping off your dick. I have no doubt the world will be a better place for it.

I don't think it fries your brain as much as it inhibits development. I think it's generally accepted that anime attracts autistic people because emotions are always acted out so dramatically and obviously, and character interactions are spelled out and overexplained. Basically it's perfect for slow people who can't pick up on subtleties in human interaction. If a normal person falls into it though they don't get properly challenged or educated on how the way that people actually act. In moderation it's fine, but it's probably the purest example of a form of media being a junk food equivalent.

Why don't they just post it to both of their channels? Why does it have to be on a new channel? It's not as if they're going to get much advertising revenue from it considering that all their fans probably have adblock.

I'm also not really sure why they've opted for the more expensive set, decent lighting setup. They could just record it as a podcast and upload that to YouTube to still get recommendations from the algorithm.
