Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden will travel to Florida to participate in the next debate and hopes that President Trump will be able to join him despite the president testing positive for the novel coronavirus late last week.
Symone Sanders, a senior campaign adviser to Biden, said on Sunday that the former vice president is “looking forward” to the Oct. 15 town hall-style debate in Miami and that he is hoping Trump will be well enough to attend.
"We are looking forward to the debate on Oct. 15 in Miami," Sanders said during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.” "It’s a town hall and, as you know, Vice President Biden loves a good town hall."
Sanders added: “And we are hoping President Trump can participate. We're hoping that he's medically able to participate, and that is up to his doctors to clear him. But Joe Biden will be at that debate."
The future of the next presidential debate was thrown in jeopardy after the president revealed in the early morning hours last Friday that he and First Lady Melania Trump had contracted the coronavirus. Since Trump’s announcement numerous members of his White House inner circle and his reelection campaign have come down with the contagion.
"We hope that [Trump] is medically able to participate, that is up to his doctors to clear him," Sanders said. "But Joe Biden will be at that debate."
Trump is currently receiving treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland with Dr. Sean Conley, the president's physician, saying Trump was given a steroid dexamethasone after his blood oxygen level had dropped suddenly twice in recent days.
Trump’s team said Sunday that Trump received oxygen at the White House on Friday, but they were not clear on whether he received any Saturday.
The additional details emerged after White House chief of staff Mark Meadows on Saturday said some of Trump’s vital signs were “very concerning” Friday. That disclosure contradicted a more rosy assessment Trump's doctors had initially provided.
Since becoming infected with the virus, Trump’s campaign has either postponed or moved to a virtual format any events the president was expected to take part in. Neither the campaign nor the Commission on Presidential Debates has made a statement regarding the possibility of Trump participating in the Oct. 15 debate, but the town hall comes just 13 days after Trump announced he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Biden, who shared a stage with Trump at last week’s presidential debate in Cleveland, Ohio, has tested negative for the virus, but Sanders said Sunday that the Democratic nominee will receive another COVID test on Sunday and will continue to do so regularly.
"What I want to communicate is that we are not concerned because we are being safe," Sanders said.
Both Trump, 74, and Biden, 77, are in an age group that is highly susceptible to suffering severe complications from the coronavirus. 8 of 10 COVID-19 deaths in the United States have been in adults 65 years of age or older, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Why the hell are they having him speak against a backdrop like this? Do they have any idea how bad it looks? Aren't there any remotely nice places they can put him in? Some public library with classical architecture, speaking to a small roomful of supporters (interns) for "security reasons." Are they even trying? Hillary had way better image control than this, her speeches were competently produced.

Bernie did have some real grassroots support, in 2016 there were people active for him who had never participated in politics before. Then he backstabbed them twice and made clear to everyone he's a paid jobber. A lot of the bern victims are burning buildings for Antifa now, a cargo cult thinking that these rituals will summon the revolution they crave.
What's the point of them doing this? A lot of Dems are dejected at having to vote for Biden. When the polls say that Joe's set for a landslide a lot of them will stay home because there are lots of other people voting for Joe, right?
Best I can figure is that it's a way to deny Trump any legitimacy. If they acknowledge that a big portion of the population likes and agrees with him it's hard to uphold the narrative of Trump as a crazy nut who no one likes. But if their followers believe that Biden is a guaranteed winner why would they hold their noses and vote Joe?

They're already priming their audience to expect a 49-state blowout for Trump on election day, with Joe Biden taking the lead a month later due to 100% ultra-legitimate mail-in votes.
Either they steal the election, in which case it matches the polling, or they fail to steal the election in which case Trumputin stole the election and it's time for blood in the streets.

It's incredibly convenient that Biden is "looking forward to" and is oh soooo very much "hoping" that Trump will be able to attend the debate that is 5 days away. When before the last (and first) debate, people were speculating if Biden was even going to make it due to, well, numerous reasons, just a few hours leading up to the debate.
And now his chimpanzee can't shut the fuck up about how Biden will definitely, definitely, definitely be there with bells and whistles on because he loves a town hall debate. You know what else Biden loves? groping little girls and individual cups of applesauce before his 5pm bedtime.
I wonder how many lids he'll call between now and the 15th. Mmmmm, I'll go with 3.

Biden is the man who single-handedly ended the Me Too movement. The moment he became the likely candidate for the Democrat party every Hollywood celebrity who'd been tweeting out that hash-tag went dumb as a post.
Well, all except poor Rose McGowan who sincerely believes in the cause and actually has been abused. Must have been a real gut-punch to realise everyone else was just virtue-signalling as long as it got them asspats.

I remembered back in 2015 I supported Bernie, but overtime I realize that Bernie is just a fraud who only cared about himself and his communist ideals that he wanted America to have. He lost more votes in 2020 because he wasn't against Hillary and many people saw Bernie for what he was when he began cucking to his opponents.
