I'm surprised his TDS take is that mild honestly. I enjoy watching CR but the whole crew is the peak of "look how good I am" virtue signalling outside the show. Though I have to say I'm impressed they manage to keep that shit out of the show proper and leave it on their socials. With the industry he's in you're pretty much required to be full of vitriolic hate for the orange man. It's still a "I hope he dies" post, but I would've expected him to just say that outright.

At this point, I think that masks are more of a placebo effect rather than legitimately helping (unless you have an N95, but even that has its limits). If anything, it’s the social distancing that makes the bigger difference. Since most people are only wearing cloth or surgical masks, those don’t have a strong enough barrier against the virus. Aside from that, Trump was right about the masks, but journalists are all too eager to A-log Trump (as usual). I’m pretty sure there are some archived news stories about Dr. Fauci saying that masks aren’t necessary all the way back in February/March in the Corona thread.

Social distancing is one of the few precautions virtually everyone agrees is actually helpful, and from my experience the one that's most ignored. Masks have been stressed as such an important and be-all end-all of protection (in part because they're a very visible sign of adherence to authority, which is a big part of why the politicians playing tyrant love them so much) that it's resulted in people thinking "As long as I have a scrap of cloth strapped to my face I'm fine." I've seen people kitted up like they're trying to avoid radioactive dust just walk up on some stranger at the store and hover over their shoulder.
It's not even a placebo effect, it's security theater. And it's backfired.

I think they're projecting their own fondness for playing the victim onto him. Trump seems to like to portray himself as strong, even the the point of cartoonish foolishness.
Not surprisingly, Trump getting sick is turning his detractors into unsympathetic vultures and the results are only going to favor him. It is their own ghoulish behavior that is creating sympathy for him.
I had no idea it was possible for a woman to have the soy beta male face.
I think the soy face is a natural thing for women, which is why its so creepy on guys. Its emasculating.

Styx also thinks it could be a possibility, mainly as a way to duck out of the 2nd debate with a good excuse. The idea is that this way he can just choose to avoid how the DNC and their shill media are trying to change the rules for the next debate with that muting shit.
I full on believe he caught the coof, but that he's only feeling tired is a good sign. Same with Melania just having a coof and headache. I'm a bit worried, but he has good odds of being fine after a couple weeks. If they do the other two debates anyway, they might go digital this time.
Hell, he pulls that off and comes out fine from the Wu Flu (and the white house is good at hiding the worst of things, ask JFK with his Addison's Disease) and he can use it for the last two weeks as why the coof shouldn't break the world's economy with this authoritarian pigshit.
