My concern is that there's long lasting effects. Everyone focuses on the death part, but Covid can do permanent damage to lungs or other parts of your health.
Trump doesn't just need to beat it and get on the trail again; he has to do and look healthy. He spent the last 3 months making a huge deal about how sick Biden was and how frail he looked, while he was energetic and working hard. Well, the two other world leaders that angered the great god Science didn't quite get struck down the way coronadoomers wanted. But Trump is older and honestly not in the best shape, he's quite a bit closer to being an at-risk demographic. I'm kind of going doomer here because if Trump does die or get severely bedridden from this all the psychopaths cheering this on right now will be clamoring for even stronger lockdowns to 'save' all the Americans that turned away from Science and Biden who'll almost certainly win on COVID will be more than happy to give it to them and implement even more Patriot Act esque powers that completely destroy what's left of our economy and our civil liberties.
