And if any of those people try to apply for a job and most companies now do internet searches (as a friend of mine found out the hard way) they will have a very difficult time even being considered for a position due to No company wants a future lawsuit or HR/PR problem down the line.

The majority of normal people who aren't in Weeb Wars or the autistic voice actor circlejerk cults believe he's innocent. I've spoken to quite a few people about it on casual terms just to get an idea of what the outside world saw in terms of everything that happened.

I have only met one person who didn't feel that way, but they weren't devoting all of their time to sperging about it.

It's almost as if only a small group of people had a problem with Vic to begin with...

When you age, you either go full fat mode as you turn sedentary, or turn skin'n'bones as you lose bone and muscle mass. Vic still fills out that outfit. It's clear he takes care of his appearance.

Vic, at nearly 60, is in better shape than 90% of the other voice actors, including the ones who're half his age.
I don't know Vic, and thus am mostly apathetic toward him. Still, a thing I respect about him is that he seems interested in earning social status based on what he's capable of doing and understanding. A man much wiser than I named Mark Twight once said, "Appearance is a consequence of fitness."

I'm betting Vic's interest in being fit is driven by his interests in staying busy and successful, and aesthetics are low on the list of shit he cares about. And yet still he triggers these fucking tards...

Yes its as though that the overwhelming majority of Americans have no clue who Vic is, and that a small group of people coordinated attacks on Vic to destroy his livelihood and make it appear that he has this terrible reputation such that new people who find him would only find what they say.

Of course, that's just silly nonsense I came up with. Vig Lasagna is a household name here in the US and we all know he serially molests every blue haired, fat, 17 year old who comes to his signings

Vic just cares about a lot about stuff. He cares for his fans. He cares about anime because he's such a nerd. He cares about his work. He also cares about himself and it shows in his appearance. That's what makes the man so successful and likeable... He actually CARES.

They would've recorded this show back in 2001, for reference this was also initially released on VHS as well, so that's an amazing flex from him. I hope to stay in good enough shape to be able to wear my clothes 19 years from now.

It also really goes to show that Vic legit cares about his work. I can't recall the time any of these dub actors ever mention an anime that wasn't a big property or the newest shit to promote. Princess Nine is very much a niche show.

It should be noted that Princess Nine was the series that allegedly launched Monica Rial's career. She mentioned on one of the interviews she did with That Anime Show (A podcast that was hosted by J Michael Tatum & Terri Doty) that was the series led her to getting more roles at ADV Films.

I wanted to find the episode but the Podcast website is no longer online.

UPDATE: https://thatanimeshow.com/audio/thatanimeshowep16.mp3

The actual site is down but I managed to find the audio archive. Segment where she mentions Princess Nine starts at 50:52.

I need to watch Princess Nine, but for the lulz, I went to check what her character was in the show:

So looks like her character is a jealous bitch who dropped the one place she was actually really talented in just so she could become some other girl's rival because it sounds like jealousy to me.

Ryo in question (played by Hilary Haag):

Sounds like a nice girl who just wanted to help out her family's business but ended up being scouted by someone for her talents.

And Ryou looks like a total sweetheart while Izumi looks like a total snob. Interesting choice of stardom there, Monica.

Having watched the series years ago, I remember it had some good-hearted moments with an orchestral OST that was curiously fucking great for what amounts to a Gurlball friendship animu. Exhibit 1) The two leads just staring at each other.

Daaaaamn, that's amazing!

Also that sound quality is perfect oldie-dub quality. ADV, right? Looking forward to this series, then.

Some funimation chaff are getting in on these convention livestreams.

This is how they're making their money.

Wonder how well it's working out.
Wow, look at that star power. Fifteen illustrious “stars”: No Body, Un Known, Not Relevant, Worth Less, After Thought, Ratings Flop, Money Loser, Has Been, Lost Cause, Corporate Zombie, Coattail Rider, Attention Whore, Clout Chaser, Fame Leech and Krystal LaPorte.

EDIT: Changed last name to Krystal LaPorte because I felt bad and was wrong to diss her since she was a victim of cancel culture.
