These people have a disgusting paraphilia not jist a coke habit.

The point is that the disgusting paraphilia is fueled by the same mechanisms that result in chemical addiction. Yes, they'll still have that paraphilia even on meds, but they won't have as intense (and self-destructive) a drive to act upon it. Without the constant need to chase the troongon, it then becomes a lot easier to try to treat the paraphilia itself.

Troons act like addicts because they are addicts. How common a number of comorbidities with other addictive behaviors and substances are among troons corroborates that nicely.

I sure as hell experience *something*, like an all over tingle up through my brain once I hit a certain point and then I get the second burst of energy. But, I’m not like, an athlete or anything, just a typical person runs a typical amount to maintain baseline health, so idk about others. I’ve always assumed it was an endorphin burst. Some cases of "gender euphoria" are probably this but it seems like the majority of cases that turn up on reddit and that get mocked here are better described as erotic anticipation. The feeling is the same as that of a 14 year old boy turning on the family PC (in ye olden days before smartphones etc.) after having been left home alone for the afternoon. They have conditioned themselves to associate the act or even the thought of the act (in fact the feeling is going to be stronger in this case since it will also be novel) as presaging something erotic consequently they feel a very real excitement and become physiologically aroused even if they are not consciously thinking about jacking off.
