That's an amazing attempt to gaslight the maybe 1,000,000 people who watch the news. It's absolutely hilarious that I can still see most of a "Keep America Great" sign and a I ❤ Trump hat. They're getting so desperate to lie about popularity, with Hispanics precisely because they're actually losing more of them holy shit.

Not to powerlevel, but back in the early 2010s I worked for a small band that at one point opened for Otep on a tour. From what I remember, she was pleasant enough as long as you didn't say or do anything she disagreed with. She went full on diva mode once when our band had a grill out and was making burgers and hot dogs too close to her bus apparently, because of course she's a vegan. It shouldn't surprise you that she's the only original member of her band, and they've had a rather high turnover rate for band members.

I think before anyone throws a fit they should wait to see what the new/suggested curriculum actually is, which I know is a tall order for TDS victims. I can understand people might at least be concerned, but immediately jumping to calling it "fashy" is stupid. Personally, I'm holding back any judgement till they provide how they're teaching everything. Just as much as I hate leftists twisting history to suit an agenda I wouldn't like the right whitewashing American history either. One point I'm hoping they fix up is the teaching of WWI, not speaking from any personal experience, but I remember reading an analysis comparing the States and Canada regarding the wars and it commented on the lacking teaching of WWI compared to WWII in American public schools. I'm curious as to how bad the current state of teaching American history is, almost scared to find out because I feel I'll die a little inside once I find out.

Yeah, I'm not even remotely shocked she has a terminal case of TDS. Otep hasn't crossed my mind since that tour in 2010, but she was clearly already the archetype of what would eventually become TDS. Most of the band couldn't really stand her or her music, but hey, if you get a chance to open for a much bigger band, you swallow your opinions and you accept it.

The only one of those three statements I made is the second one, not sure where the other two are from. The useless piece of cloth I wear is about how far I'll bend to make frightened people feel safe. My issue is about rights, I don't give a shit about anti-vaxxer arguments or worrying about getting COVID from a vaccine. After all, I'm not in a particularly at risk demographic, nor do I think COVID is that big a deal.

No one wants law and order more on the most important day of the year than the sitting president of said country. If it's disorganized and chaotic he will be called weak and be blamed for it, if he strong arms and lays down the law he will be labeled a fascist dictator. Either way he cannot win so he plays the part that the people want to hear most: law and order trump rioting.
That being said there is jack all he can do as any riots are the responsibility of the state and not the federal gov't.

No one here is saying that. The concept of vaccines is not under any sort of criticism in this thread. Some people are leery of it being rushed into production. Some people are leery because of the authoritarian measures we've been all but promised will accompany this particular vaccine. The only one bringing up the anti-vax specter is you, because apparently you feel the need to go on a dickstroking bender about how cool, brave, and euphoric you are for having a vaccine fetish.
