Its fascinating seeing the Republican party go from the party of "old racist, sexist white men" into a more modern party that a lot of young adults are starting to support meanwhile the Dems are going the opposite direction.
Never in my lifetime would I think that Republicans would be seen as the "cool" party while Dems are crashing and burning the very cities that support them.
Its just interesting to witness.

The only thing that needs to be done now is for the old Boomers to then finally go away and let the younger generation of conservatives take over and at this point the party needs new blood anyway.

It's pretty clear to me that both the Boomers and the more younger conservatives simply don't really see eye to eye with every issue that's out there since the Boomers want to return everything back to the 1950's while the younger conservatives have adopted more libertarian views anyway.

The big appeal for young people regarding Donald Trump is his more libertarian approach to a lot of things compared to his other NeoCon counterparts that want to have more dumb wars in the Middle East and pass more dumb laws to strip away the rights of Americans anyway.

Now mind you Donald Trump isn't completely perfect but compared to the rest of the Republican Party he's a breathe of fresh air compared to the rest of the crooks that are in the party then.

This is like the Islamic Civil War after the Prophet died which gave rise to a schism that lasts to this day because both sides believed they were correct. This is almost approching religious levels of delusion where both tribes the other is evil and must be destroyed at all costs.

The way I see it, if current trends continue then we could see a repeat of the 'Spanish Civil War' taking place in the United States then.

Now I don't want this to happen but if things keep going the way they are then this will be inevitable later on anyway.

It's been a tactic of the left in general from a long time, one they've assimilated on the individual level but frequently carry out on the macro scale: "subtly" bait your opponent into getting angry, then act like the wronged party when they get angry. A form of gaslighting, if you will, where they act like their actions were perfectly innocent and they don't see how they could be at all provocative, and now here they are being hounded and attacked by vicious angry right-wingers.

It's what we're seeing with the riots now, especially the recent Kenosha thing. They push and they push and they push with violence while chanting the cultish phrase of "peaceful protests", and when they finally encounter pushback they clutch their pearls and wail about how they've been attacked for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Or what Twitter's trying to do with Trump... they get more and more obvious about censoring him in complete violation of the law they're supposed to be operating under, and then gasp about how he's attacking freedom of speech when he finally comes down on them. Or, again, the Democrats and literally everything they've done this election. Insult Trump, then express dismay about his immaturity when he insults them back. Blatantly cheat, then whimper that he's subverting democracy when he calls you out on the cheating. Discard all pretenses of subtlety when leaking information from your security briefings, shriek that he's a tyrant when Trump stops the security briefings.

Honestly it just makes me disgusted that the left puts on such a loud virtue signaling show of decrying emotional abuse and bullying, when absolutely everything about their behavior re: politics and society is based on those things.

I think it's more because they finally realized that even with their rigged polling (all designed with a +5 - +10 swing for the Dems via the sample), they are struggling to match the two, let alone have Biden winning. They finally realized to a degree that they lost a lot more support than they gained with that fuck the police bullshit.

It's "You want it? You got it!" during their campaigning, but nothing during their tenures.
