This is no young man looking for a fight or with a chip on his shoulder. This is simply a young man in a place where he quite simply had to fight for his life.

He has to walk free.

Something just went down in San Diego, cops screaming "GET ON THE GROUND" lot of sirens. One of the demonstrators yelled "they gonna shoot" a few minutes ago and it's been distantly streamed chaos since.

Things have died down somewhat no explanation forthcoming though.

Someone is calling for a medic, unsure if police or protester.

Edit again: Choppers above, but things have quieted down for real I think. Looks like bicycle police are out in force now. Appears the incident was a BLMSUV being pulled over by SPD for a violation probably related to the protests which attracted an increasingly agitated crowd eventually culminating in someone doing some dumb shit. I gotta jet for a while but here's the video I grabbed on mega (it's bigish).

Facebook provided identifying geolocation information and IP addresses associated with the account and Spectrum/Charter Communications revealed the IP address was issued to Peavy.

Sloppy OPSEC especially if you're going to be posting illegal content online. The geolocation data was probably GPS coordinates directly from the spyware Facebook app installed on his phone. If you're going to do illegal shit (especially online), ffs, do some research into methods to protect yourself.
