I think that's why he's freaking out. Skordas knows about us, and you know he's clued the prosecution into this site, and since they're actual law enforcement, they can investigate and see what's true and what's speculation. The relevant points are Russ's massive sense of entitlement, and his belief he can use the courts to force women to do what he wants. Someone said he was probably seething because someone else (a woman, no less) dared to use his weapon against him.

In my experience, anyone who repeatedly insists they're a Nice Guy is flat out lying. Only selfish creepy douchebags with entitlement issues feel the need to tell other people they're a Nice Guy on a regular basis. Actually nice people show that they're nice through their actions and behavior. They don't need to promote themselves.
As a woman, I take hearing a man calling themselves a Nice Guy as an immediate and immense red flag, and I know I'm not the only one. Anything allegedly nice that a Nice Guy will do for a woman always always always has ulterior motives and strings attached. There's a reason we have a whole thread dedicated to Nice Guys.
In Russhole's case, he's a particularly toxic breed of Nice Guy, because he pairs his Nice Guyness with both malignant narcissism and blatant misogyny. He sees women as nothing more than sex vending machines, and any woman who refuses to dispense sucking him his penis after he put in his Nice Guy coins is "malfunctioning" and therefore deserves to be harassed, stalked, threatened, and sued for daring to not to give him what he wants. The faint silver lining here is that Russhole is so arrogant and so inept that he can't hide the fact he's a repulsive asshole at all, no matter how often he plays the Nice Guy card. No woman will ever be taken in by his assertions for long.

Yeah, if you have to say you have a personality trait, you probably don't have it. He also says he's smart and driven, when it's clear he is neither one of those things.
Erika learned to her sorrow what happens when you're nice to him. I'm glad she insisted on treatment as part of his sentence, as it was clear that without it, Russ would just do this to another woman, and possibly even her once the year was up. I really hope this doesn't get dismissed, and Russ gets his jury trial. It won't take much effort to prove to a jury he's guilty of what he's accused of. From what I understand, in Utah, juries don't recommend sentences, that's up to the judge. I hope the judge sentences him to some jail time, and then therapy.
It's not dead. It's just resting.

Somehow that creeps me out the most. Women everywhere should put up with him creeping because it's "just being flirty and friendly" gah! He honestly doesn't see what he's doing wrong (or refuses too) I hope he does get therapy he needs it

A nice guy doesn't have to say he's a nice guy because people will know it simply from their actions. Just like it's not necessary for anybody to say they're smart, handsome, rich or anything like that. And typically if you do say it, people will assume you are the opposite for that reason.

Exactly this. It doesn't matter if someone thinks they're cool. What matters is if the people around them think they're cool. It doesn't matter if someone thinks their life is inspirational. What matters is if other people are inspired by their story. It doesn't matter if someone thinks they are a hard worker and good employee. What matters is if their boss thinks they're a good employee. It doesn't matter if someone thinks their songs are totally awesome. What matters is if the people hearing the song like it. It doesn't matter if a guy thinks he's a sexy stud. What matters is if women (or men) are attracted to him. That's just the way the world works. Always has, always will. You can't make people think and feel the way you want them to think and feel.

I hope he gets therapy, and is forced to confront his horribly misogynistic views which are a major contributor to his idiocy. He needs to learn that people, especially women, have the right to tell him no.

He also has a constitutional right (of equal importance) to a speedy trial. What that means in real life is complicated, but 180 days from the request is generally when shit starts getting looked at sideways.

This is 100% it. Russell doesn't even really understand what it means to be "nice." His idea of "nice" is "I buy you things and wear a suit and you give me sex." He doesn't get that kindness requires consistency and not expecting anything in return, kindness for its own sake, not just a few gifts and gestures on occasion. It is honestly rather hilarious that he basically wants a sugar daddy style relationship despite being totally broke.
And you're right, Russell sets off literally every red flag imaginable. We see it in how he reacts to being turned down, a nice person would accept that and not want to retaliate. Now let's see how Russ reacted when Dani (a sex worker) cancelled their booking:
He insults her, makes up lies about her, then brags for several lines about what a great, kind, fit, awesome guy he is. And ends it by further wishing her harm. Why? Because he thinks she deserves it for turning him down.
Russell understands women can say no to him, he just thinks they shouldn't be allowed to. We know he has said many times that it should be a felony to refuse him, and even though he later claimed he doesn't mean it, he waited a year to address it and also said he was "Making a point," so it's pretty clear what he really thinks. Not to mention the whole "she can just close her eyes" thing, which shows you how little he cares about the women he tries to "woo." Keep in mind that his books and lawsuits have all been about him trying to either make it legal for him to own a brothel (where we can only assume he will expect to be able to fuck any woman he wants for free no matter what they say) or about trying to punish a woman for saying no to him/ignoring him altogether (see above.) He thinks women not giving him what he wants is something that should be punished. I shudder to think of what would happen if he were extremely rich, powerful, and charismatic, but I have to imagine it would end with him being strangled in a prison cell.

Agreed. Nothing more of a turn off than a guy (or a girl) who has been rejected and becomes bitter, pissy and childish. Just fucking deal with it like the rest of us.
