I just want to know your concept of a timeline, considering the age of the account, and the fact that it hasn't been reclaimed or anything. The dude would likely find out he'd lost control of what was obviously at one point his account at the very least.

In regards to everything that has happened, as sad and bizarre as it may seem, I'd say the Occam's Razor take on this would simply be that it's really him and his morality is questionable. Too many things have to align for it to be anything but that.

The guy is in his early 40s, he's not really a boomer. He would've been a teenager in the 90s. I don't think we can apply a stereotype of a whole generation to explain the behaviours of one man. His conduct may or may not be the right thing to do, but that doesn't mean he's a troll. People do strange/wrong things all the time regardless of their age or the situation they're in.

She got both of her parents (who also have multiple other, younger kids to take care of) to fly out to D.C. to "have a talk" with her, thinking that she was willing to come home. They get there, pay for what is basically a mini-vacation for her, only to have to fork over the cash to put her up in a nuthouse.

Which, she immediately informs the people at the aforementioned nuthouse that her parents are abusive (by the way, lying about her parents being abusive this entire time as well to anyone who will listen) so that she can slink back to Ethan Ralph (of all fucking people) with money from her parents that was supposed to go towards getting help.

Yeah, that's pretty fucking bad man. Her behavior so far (as most people in the thread have apparently developed selective amnesia towards whenever her dad's mentioned) would seem to be that of someone who, regardless of parentage, would've turned out to be a piece of shit. It seems to me like he's pretty much disowned her for that stunt and is trying to just, as I said, make the best of a horrid situation.
