Seriously he does this every other month, I wonder how his fans stay interested in this crap. They're chasing an impossible ideal of inclusive unity AND unforgiving puritanism.

I watched the whole thing (because I have nothing better to do in my free time), and while it was certainly cancerous, I can’t say I’m surprised by it given what I know of Vaush.

The part that really sticks in my craw though was near the end when he accuses Tracey of being a conservative simply because some conservatives agree with what he says. From what I know of Tracey, he just speaks his mind on issues that he cares about without letting partisan politics influence what he says, and will say the same things regardless of whether he’s talking to someone on the left or the right. Just because some conservatives agree with what he’s saying doesn’t mean that he’s on their team. By that logic, if you say that the earth is round and a Nazi uses your argument to make his case as such, then that means that you are a Nazi. Vaush though says this is bad because what Michael Tracey argues doesn’t bolster his preferred narrative, and you should only have principles insofar as they bolster the right narrative.

You can still see smidgens of it whenever they confront minorities who don't buy their BS. Hell, they'd actually assault me if they'd ever meet me.

They do not have convictions or integrity, they follow what is socially, politically and corporately acceptable today and run with it all the way to the bank. Many of them, however, naively believe that they are against the establishment. That can't be further from the truth when said establishment actively uses "equality" as a marketing tool for votes.

Yup I imagine if we had Twitter in the 70s people would have doomposted about the eternal wokeness just like we are now but ultimately the hyper Political Correctness of the that era passed and was merely a footnote of history while the crowd moved on to Right Wing Evangelicalism when that took off.
