The vas mad at fandubs are worried they'll be out of a job in a few years. It's just another case of job insecurity and afraid of competition. I rather buy the manga to support the actual mangaka or watch the subs than support dub vas who shows no respect to the fans. For a job that has fan interaction as their sole income (they don't make money off merchandise to keep them afloat so they have to be in the convention circuit just to make ends meet) you shouldn't really be alieninating your prime source of income. Just saying.

I watched TOS the first time around and I also remember the first night when I tuned in and Ike's death was all over the TV for weeks and weeks. When it finally came back on there was maybe one or two episodes that Summer.Yes, we got another one

I'm older now and understand what happened but at the time, my child brain blamed the Eisenhower coverage for ruining my young life.
I'm kind of a purist and when a co-worker turned me on to it, I was blown out of the water. I have been through it about four or five times now and my poor family have had to sit through it and they are blown away.
The Mirror Mirror/The Fairest of Them All back to back idea I have done. It boggles the mind. Yeah, I'm a fan.

I did the same thing and at times you forget it isnt all TOS.
The camera angels during Kirk/Spock fight in Fairest of them all is too close .
Its far better than any other Trek fan films for pure entertainment.
Then VIC.. He isnt playing Shatner playing Kirk..Vic is playing Kirk!

Ah... "Do as I say, not as I do." A lot of new VAs start by doing fan projects. Just because they were able to get their foot in the door and do official work now doesn't mean they get to shit on everyone else. Sure, you probably would want to use your official work to fill out your resume once you build it up more... But we all start from somewhere and we shouldn't forget our roots.

How can they take a moral stance against something that helped give them a job? They certainly didn’t give a fuck when there were thousands of fan-dub videos back in the day. But once the cons stopped running and the checks stopped coming in, now it’s a serious issue. Maybe pissing off the customers, the people who buy your shitty products, wasn’t a good idea after all.

So i finished episode 3 of Star Trek continues and holy shit that was awsome. Just the beginning of the episode, it just looked exactly like how the original ending. I awalys wondered what happen in the ending after the mirror counterparts were bought back to their dimension. After Kirk talked to mirror spock. So this episode was a perfect contuination of that ending.
Vic played such a good mirror kirk. As we only got to see the mirror kirk in one scene in the original episode. So this was so great, the mirror kirk is clearly ment to be the complete opposite of regular kirk. And this episode really showed it. Vic did such a awsome job as psycho Kirk.

Hnnngh I think I'm gonna have to suck it up and finally actually sit down and start watching Star Trek for once in my life. I can just do the original series for now and jump into STC that way, it's only three years of the five-year mission, I can get through it in no time if I just. Stop. Procrastinating.
