can i just point out the absurdity of the "you can talk to me about self harm" pin? self harm is a serious, private, traumatic thing to so many people, and the idea that a COMPLETE STRANGER would look at this pin (and who's wearing it) and decide to have a conversation about it is fucking bonkers. i guess coming from the person who thinks self harm is picking at zits and eating hand sanitizer, it's as normal as an "ask me about my cat" pin.
Why does she want to call herself sapphic? If I have my Tumblrisms in check, sapphic is applicable towards lesbians and bi women, it's meant to signify that you're a woman who likes other women, and is a way to include both bi women and lesbians in conversations where the distinction isn't as important.
"Yarrow is not a woman," she wants us to believe. Yarrow wants to call herself sapphic, a term very specifically made for women. She calls herself "gay" when she talks about her "attraction" towards women, but it's not straight when she talks about her being a sexy goth succubus getting knocked up by her ghost harem.
You can't have both. It's so strange that she wants to define herself by all these labels that don't make sense. You can't be sapphic if you aren't a girl. You can't be gay for girls if you're not a girl. If you want people to believe in your xenogender bullshit, then why do you keep inserting yourself into communities for women? Why do you keep grouping yourself with women when it comes to their issues?
Sidenote: if Josie ever decided to get the chop, Steph would bail and call her abusive in less than a second. She has never expressed interest in pussy or tits. Everyone knows she's only really sexually attracted to the male sex. The way she talks about women sounds like both a poor parody of lesbians and like she's mistaking admiration for attraction.
Did you think Yarrow's slapfight with a cripple is over? When you can't walk the ride never ends!
Yeah.....wtf???"I thought disability was fluid" bitch, you thought wrong. Either you are or you fucking aren't.
I feel another spaz out coming, on level with the famous MOGAIwatch spaz out.
On top of her not being disabled, this makes her all the dumber since she's got at least one "MUH INVISIBLE DISABILITIES" pin.Steph: I am an anarchist
Steph also: the government of the United States is a fair and objectively correct arbiter of what is and is not disability.
What's actually really crazy is anon is right. Regardless of your stance on the idea of disability culture, "cripple punk," etc. It doesn't make sense to reclaim "cripple" as a term or the aesthetics of mobility aids (wheelchairs, braces, canes, etc.) if you aren't...crippled? there are lots of disabilities that anyone would happily term disabilities that don't impact mobility. Deafness, for example, is unequivocally a physical disability that also has zero impact on mobility. Like I don't understand if she genuinely doesn't grasp this or if she gets it but wants to cling to this dumbass appeal to..the state government of New York...to determine her eligibility to reclaim and identify with the aesthetic of mobility aids. Pregnant women can get temporary placards. Are they cripple punk, Yarrow?
Cripple anon is right but also classic Tumblr in policing how people cant use certain terms.
I get called crippled all the time. My name here probably should be changed to crippled picnic by how often I get called it, but am I legitimately crippled? By anon's standards probably not, I can walk and don't use a wheelchair, but doing so does cause me pain pretty much 24/7. So I only use cripple as a way to laugh at myself being such a failure when it comes to rolling the dice with life lmao.
That being said, Steph is definitely not crippled in any way if her mobility issues are now fixed because of physical therapy. Being in special education doesn't mean you're crippled. Having motor control issues doesn't really make you crippled either, that falls more under being retarded as far as slurs go. I am surprised that she got a diagnosis of developmental motor issues without being tested for autism tho, since they go hand in hand a lot of the time.
All the woke kids scramble to get their version of the "N word." They delight in being able to tell other people they can't say a word because it's offensive, while smugly saying it themselves. The LGBT fandom is the worst with it.
There's never-ending discourse about whether certain people can say dyke/tranny/faggot/queer, based on their rights to reclamation and whatnot. She's just decided she fits in more with the disabled crowd, for now.
