Either Josie is so lonely, isolated, and lacking in self esteem that crawling back to Steph seems like their only option for friendship or understanding... or Josie is also so gross, rude, and selfish that they truly are kindred spirits. I dearly hope it's the latter but it might very well be both.

Hadn't Josie just come out to their parents and gotten essentially kicked out/become persona non grata when last we heard, too? I do wonder what their situation is these days and how much they are not in a situation to take on the parasitic child that is Stapphy, on a scale from 'bad idea' to 'HOLY SHIT BAD IDEA'.

Stephanie repeatedly told Josie she would never love her and never be attracted to her and when Josie, who was apparently going through a hard time then, broke up with her, Stephanie started telling a bunch of randoms on the internet that Josie was a sex pest who was way too into her, and in a mastodon breakdown accused Josie of being manipulative and playing games with your trauma.
Nothing but rage and lies when Josie broke it off and now it's all happiness because she came back, huh?
This surely won't devolve into abuse, no way.

From anybody else this would be a normal turn of phrase but from Staph Infection Yarrow Peepeepoopoo it shows the lie/delusion. I mean, she thought a plastic water bottle on her lawn was part of some sustained campaign of harassment related to covid/riots or some shit. Josie probably just answered a pestering email with “hey

can i just point out the absurdity of the "you can talk to me about self harm" pin? self harm is a serious, private, traumatic thing to so many people, and the idea that a COMPLETE STRANGER would look at this pin (and who's wearing it) and decide to have a conversation about it is fucking bonkers. i guess coming from the person who thinks self harm is picking at zits and eating hand sanitizer, it's as normal as an "ask me about my cat" pin.

She really can't stop fighting with people who are actually #actually disabled, actually trans, actually gay, or the real version of whatever label she decides to throw at herself.
For those not following along in relevant communities, the "cottagecore" community has gotten into discorse about how cottages are colonialism or whatever. Thus the name change.
Communes are the opposite of both cottages and cozyness, so this is a really dumb workaround.

What's actually really crazy is anon is right. Regardless of your stance on the idea of disability culture, "cripple punk," etc. It doesn't make sense to reclaim "cripple" as a term or the aesthetics of mobility aids (wheelchairs, braces, canes, etc.) if you aren't...crippled? there are lots of disabilities that anyone would happily term disabilities that don't impact mobility. Deafness, for example, is unequivocally a physical disability that also has zero impact on mobility. Like I don't understand if she genuinely doesn't grasp this or if she gets it but wants to cling to this dumbass appeal to..the state government of New York...to determine her eligibility to reclaim and identify with the aesthetic of mobility aids. Pregnant women can get temporary placards. Are they cripple punk, Yarrow?

"Rare and occasional attraction towards men..." Staph has like five ghost husbandos that she lets astral-breed her and then acts like that she has never, in her life, wanted to suck down the dick of Richard Ramirez because she switched blogs, abandoned most of her old labels, and tried to scrub away her online footprint. All she talks about when it comes to sex is men and transwomen, and she has never (to my knowledge) actually expressed any desire to interact with the female body sexually. She's so straight it hurts.
Also, that "rural PA gothic" is basically the entire state outside of the cities and their suburban communities. We all live like that out here in the boonies. If she actually left her polluted little boomtown more than once a year, maybe she wouldn't be so mesmerized by dense tree lines and cornfields.

I think my favorite part of the whole 'IM TOTALLY A CRIPPLE REEEEEEE' bit was that she was desperately trying to find justifications that... don't really have any impact on the situation.
'I had motor delays and had to go to treatment!!!' Well according to your very own statement you got treatment for them, and they dont seem to have much impact on you these days beyond apparently making you bad at art. Being an ungainly kid doesnt make you a ~disabled adult.
'The sTaTE oF nEW YoRK' first off, real anarchistpunk of you to go running to the state for validation, secondly you didn't even manage to get disability, thirdly the only things that you could even try to use there were depression and anxiety, not your terrible childhood clumsiness? Literally nobody would call that #crippled Stapphy. Tarding out and trying to chug hand sanitizer at the idea of having to act like an adult doesn't put you on par with someone in a wheelchair.
