Yeah, this situation has publicly unfolded over the course of many months thanks to Mallory and Lavery's attention-seeking behavior on social media. We've discussed it in this thread several times along the way.

The timeline:

1. November 2019: Pedo Johnny confesses his attraction to children to Mallory and Mallory alerts the church.
2. November 2019: Mallory and Lavery make a huge stink on Twitter, publicly saying in the most dramatic way possible: "We just cut contact with Mallory's whole family but we can't say why!!!!!" Mallory gets a tattoo that says "Disinherited" and they abruptly move to NYC to get away from Mallory's family (Joe Lavery must then "commute" back to California weekly to work.)
3. February 2020: Mallory reveals the cause of the estrangement was because her parents were covering for an anonymous pedo.
4. June 2020 (today): Mallory reveals that the pedo is her brother.

I actually agree with Mallory publicly exposing the dude. She doesn't have any evidence that he molested kids; he denies ever acting on his impulses. But he's a confessed pedo who has spent ten years seeking out opportunities to be alone with kids. The mere fact that he was afraid his lost laptop would be found by the cops is a pretty clear indication that he was in possession of child porn AT LEAST. He probably fucking did act on his impulses, and Mallory knows it. But the lost laptop was never found, no victims have come forward, and Mallory has no other evidence that Pedo Johnny has committed any crimes. She has nothing to go to the police with.

The people around Pedo Johnny were protecting and enabling him, knowingly encouraging him to continue working with kids. Mallory could not personally monitor the dude's comings and goings for the rest of his life, but it would be completely unacceptable to allow him more opportunities to get at kids. Exposing his name was the best way to prevent that and I think she did the right thing.

The utter narc troon bullshit of this situation is the fact that Mallory and Lavery have spent months publicly dropping hints and teasers and vaguebook posts before finally revealing today exactly what happened. They have absolutely no excuse for doing it this way; all it accomplished was to create a swirl of social media drama around themselves.

It's a bit depressing to see him spamming this same pic on every possible related sub he can (translater, transtimelines, trans, lgbt, transpositive, mtfselfietrain, transadorable) only to get maybe a meagre 150ish upvotes. Not sure if it's even sadder to see people comment "Gorgeous!" or "Nice makeup!" lmao. In one post he says it took him several hours (!!) to do his makeup. Assuming the 59 is his birth year, he'd be 61 now. The problem with that is that "misgendering" would have no effect on a cis person. Considering that there is literally no argument for them to be the opposite gender. A troon doing that would at best be an annoyance.

Something as simple as being called 'Mister' or 'Missus' isn't going to shatter any hopes of their day going well. I've had someone reflexively say the wrong title and I just shrugged. It's not a big deal and it's just as likely the person who made the mistake feels silly for it.

I've scarcely ever laid eyes on the subreddit, aside from a few links here on the Farms, but it's a wee bit gross imo that Reddit will allow Troon grooming and depravity but makes an example of the Terves. I'm not a fan of silencing opinions for Woke points. Gendercritical simply wasn't that bad.

Thing is, it doesnt devastate our sense of self to be misgendered, on purpose or otherwise, mostly because we have skin thicker than tissue paper.

Hell I shaved most of my head for deployment and got called sir or young man by a lot of civilians, it literally did nothing, call a troon the "wrong" gender (or any gender for the they/xie/ey weirdos) and theyll spend the rest of the day bawwwing online about the violence they suffered at the hands of the oppressive cis people.
