Respectfully, I think you are dramatically underestimating Assburgers Skeptic's neuroticism and need for control. Yes, Shoe: The Next Generation seems perfect on paper. But nothing is perfect for Greg. He will manipulate and contort her mind regardless.

I'm in my early 30's, and like almost every fucking girl on Tinder who's 28-32 has their Hogwarts house in their bio, or some other lame reference to the series (like "no muggles", or "I'm a Hufflepuff but I'll date a Slytherin!"). The fans actually disowned JK Rowling a long time ago, because she kept retroactively making characters gay, which they saw as pandering. They'll still love the books and movies, no matter what Rowling does. It's sort of a George Lucas "Han shot first" situation.
