I'm mostly just confused on how people find these sexy at all.

It’s really the emotional stuff I find most interesting about these guys. It’s like they had their stuffed animals or toys or whatever when they were kids, then just graduated to one you fuck. So, I went and looked up the "gold standard" for dolls with the Wife... and even she was like "I'd hit that" on some of them like this. I mean look if you got 7k to blow and you like photography and or fucking... pffff eh why not. I can think of worse uses of that much money.

Not *directly*, no, but the guy gave off seriously creepy vibes in general. There were just lots of little things; Figures of speech, choices in language, etc that made it clear he wasn't quite able to view other people as actual people. He was also obsessed with true crime type shows, which is always a big red flag in my book. He'd sit on the couch and commentate the whole way through episodes about how "he'd have done it", and it was always really cringey and offputting even when he'd try and laugh it off as just "getting into the show".

I'd like to think that even without the sex doll we'd have had the good sense to remove him anyway.

well, from what I see for some it's a couples thing, I guess if you get an actually attractive looking one and want to swing/3some but don't want the drama baggage of other people in the relationship.
