This is why troons are laughable. Each one of them thinks their own being triggered outranks someone else being triggered by their being triggered. So who do we listen to when these idiots both insist any "progressive ally" has to support one of them? The griefing stories megathread was the last thing I can remember being good. It's the single thing I'd really like an archive of aside from the 9/11 thread before SA goes down. I'd bet a good 60% of the posters in it are banned now for hurting people's feelings.
Also there's some case for/against the translated LP of Danganronpa creating enough interest in the series to get it localized, but at the same time that brought in a bunch of insufferable weebs. At least it was funny watching them get banned in short order though since this happened before gender politics took over.

That thread had some pretty good stories in between page after page of “Lol anyone who plays <video game> is griefing themselves.” Most of the thread, from my recollection, was goons slapfighting over each other’s taste in games.

That's pretty much every non-game-specific games thread on SA, even in the old days. Thinking about it I'd honestly like a small cross-section of that archived too, just for the memories of when the infighting was autistic console/franchise warring instead of cancel bullshit.
I just remember posts like the stories from (gridbased mmo) Ultima Online where the guy figured out that a slime enemy that replicated when split would stack with itself if it didn't have anywhere to place the new slime. He proceeded to herd one into his player housing, barricade it behind a bunch of furniture and then set up a keyboard macro to cast some weak spell on it over and over every 10 seconds to make it split. He left this running over the weekend then proceeded to extort absurd amounts of money out of the server threatening to release the 10000+ slimes, which he eventually did anyways, causing almost the entire server to disconnect and their characters to die under thousands and thousands of slime movement updates and 1-damage chips from aggressive slimes.

I joined SA in 2008 primarily for LP watching and gradually branched out to the rest of the site. The amount of insufferable, smug, condescending vitriol that flowed in within the following 12 years made it unbearable to read, let alone participate. Liberals, troons, anyone with that group think was coddled and protected. 2016 was amazing to watch with the salt from the election. Glad to see the rats sinking with the ship. Good riddance.
