It was getting less and less media attention with each episode. 2 years later and the only thing people remember about this game is that the kids were mexican and an underage sex scene. If it was a hit they wouldn't be calling their next game "Number 5 Killed My Brother" or something

The sad thing is that Abby COULD have been made into a character people could actually sympathize with or maybe like in some way shape or form if some actual effort was put into fleshing her out as a character rather than shove her bitter tasting ass down our throats and then calling us bigots and transphobic when we spit it back out. We make fun of her hideous appearance more so because she's an ugly character more than anything else. Her looking like a troon is just a secondary failure to her as a character. Plenty of people have already pointed out why she's such a shit character handled in a shit way and tons of different ways she could have been written to make her 100 times better narrative wise.
This is why people hate the game. They don't hate the troon for looking like a troon. They hate her because she fucking sucks, is irredeemable, has plot armor that causes the rest of the cast to have the collective intelligence of a dog's turd around her, and worst of all, not only do they force us to play as a character that they make us hate within the first 2 hours of the game, but she gets away completely scott free and faces absolutely no repercussions for all of the fucked up shit she's done because once again, her plot armor causes Ellie to develop severe brain damage and decide to let her go after everything she'd been through just to get to her. You know, the whole fucking point of the game.

And that's the biggest failure of woke culture in the media. Instead of writing a decent character that just happens to be gay or trans, They write a character where being gay or trans is basically their character, and then basically it is to hell with any likeable qualities, and then get angry that people hate the character because they want to blame "people hating the (insert marginalized) community" instead of their own lazy writing. if they want to write a character that is so trans that they look like a fucking linebacker instead of whatever gender he/she is trying to look, then nobody will give a shit as long as it is well done and the character is likeable. there are many examples of unlikeable characters that are not from whatever community, but again I suspect the whole "they hate" spiel may just be an excuse to not admit they are just shitty writers.

Notice how this woman looks proportionally normal. Her chest is almost non existent, however in this case it makes sense because the rest of her lines up with what a typical woman with small tits looks like. Compare her to Abby who also has a non existent chest but with body proportions akin to a body builder (mind you, Abby apparently was born this way because she was built like a dude since she was younger apparently). There's a noticeable difference. Granted if Abby was in fact transgender, then her body build is exactly what you would expect. But she's not, and her body does not realistically portray how a muscled woman typically looks like. (I don't even know if Abby is shown to be doing a body builder's work out which would be difficult in post apocalyptic america because there's hardly any food you can use for the muscle gains. It's the fucking apocalypse, everyone should be thin because hello, food is supposed to be scarce and in short supply).

There's also the weird part about Abby having multiple love interests?? I dunno if that's true or not but, I find it odd how all the guys want to fuck the broad that looks like a dude that could fucking body slam them with enough force to send them to the Earth's center. Some guys like women like that...but not all of them, you know? I dunno, seems out of place to me.

A few years ago a crash definitely would have saved the industry, but now? Now it's just going to give room for apple and amazon to slide in. Because game reviewers feel like they're actually friends (or in many cases, are friends/fuck buddies/lovers/etc) with the developers.

These "gaming man babies" aren't trashing a shitty game - they're destroying art that his close friend Druckmann worked slavishly on for seven years. Also if he doesn't protect it, Sony may not give him an early copy of their next console release and the review would come out late.
