So as far as I've been able to tell the Alamo hasn't defaced at all but a few buildings and a statue in the area were tagged with minor graffiti. So I guess the police/militias and other defenders did their job admirably.
Although it's bewildering to me the Alamo would need defenders at all. I mean it's the one major monument in the nation I can name which isn't remembered for it's relation to US history but of an independent state, one that was pleading for US help which was refused before the fortifications were breached and it's defenders were either executed or dragged off to a foreign state as propaganda.
So I'm not entirely sure what message I'm supposed to get from seeing people trying to destroy it, although the graffiti on the statue claims it's a symbol of white supremacy and capitalism. My personal take is the few "protesters" who are educated enough to write graffiti have a lesser knowledge of history than a kid educated in the days when some Democrats were still openly segregationist, and the rest of them have an IQ just above that of a window licking retard.
